Here's a weird one. My power window switches and power door lock switch only work when the driver door is open. Just started today. Spent the day with the driver window down thinking it was the relay until about ten minutes ago when I noticed the door switch housing illuminated when I opened the door, and turned off when I shut it.

When the door is shut, none of the window switches on any of the doors work, nor does the driver side lock switch, but the passenger door lock works fine in any case. I can swing the door open and shut without even latching it to achieve the effect, like a light switch. I have a video if need be.

I have an aftermarket switch assembly in the front doors, but swapping the OE assembly in doesn't fix it. Does anyone have any idea what the driver door opening or shutting could be affecting to kill power to the windows?

My first guess would be the wiring harness that flexes every time the door opens/closes.
Not unusual for a wire(s) to break internally and cause issues.

Though I would guess it's actually at the connection for the door harness plugs behind the kick panel. Pull the kick panel and tug on the harness to see if its loose or is the wires are visibly cut/pinched. If nothing there then look in the door.
