Bench tested the actual “yellow” s2 lights to see if I wanted all fog / cornering lenses, or combo lense fog / cornering & spot….
Leaning toward combo for the performance benefit, I think…

I’ve got time to chew on it & decide, 2 light covers on b/o for a few weeks.
Ok though, not exited to do the install…

    Yeah...
Theres inserts on the backside so lights are mounted securely to them...
    No hokey rigging....
& very solid plastic, not hollow or corrugated on the backside, very rigid piece...
No idea what the factory piece feels like, not like it really matters unless your fabricating a mod...

Where did you get the bezel/inserts or did you mod them?

You have to pay to play, quality is nothing short of amazing...
Call & order direct, theres perks to doing it that way, vs a vendor.....
You can customize your lens option, fog, spot, yellow, clear, etc.....

lol, I am sure the lights are great, but at 1100+ bucks for both sets! Holy crap. I just won’t play, I guess.
Like others have said, I’d love to see them installed and how bright they are.

I’m gonna be the bad guy here but don’t you think a squadron BD light would fill that spot better than an s1? I love my BD squadrons and use them daily.

Honestly I bought the DD "reverse hitch light" and it was honestly trash. I sent it back. It was worse than a no name Chinese knock off from Ebay yet their stuff is premium price. I will pay for quality all day long.

Guys on here rave about their lights, im sure they put out decent light....
They just look cheap to me & cant stand the orange reflector oem look......
Im sure they swear by them mostly due to budget friendly / cost more than anything else....

I did my due diligence & made a decision.......
Yes, paid abit more, but without a question great product, outstanding warranty, & great customer service..

In california theres an over abundance of offroad shops, truck accessory shops, metal fab shop / desert rigging shops, exhaust shops, stereo shops, that push BD for a reason.....

    Sometimes you have to pay...

Hey slater. I’m a rookie in the world of lighting, but like a good set of headlights and fogs. What’s your intended use for the vent kit?

I don’t think anyone questions the quality of the BD stuff, and I’m with those that want to see the final installation and review.

you read through this & few guys mentioning dd are the best, im making a dumb decision going BD, etc...
Im also a clown for getting a 2 wheel drive........
    water under the bridge....

    This will be strictly street...
Going to play with the s1 vent kit, keeping them white but can do a cornering fog lense or a spot,
I forgot what was discussed with tech support about the best lense option for that light but have both lenses...
Sent an email out to them to refresh my memory...
You can swap the lenses on the s1 after theyre installed so its a non-issue.
The 4 s2 fogs in the toyota factory location, once theyre installed you cant swap lenses.
That will be a combo driving lense which is fog / spot....

This will be strictly all the time street use,
yes I opted for the brighter offroad lights, yes for street use, I did say that.....
but they do make sae street legal in both clear & yellow....
The plan is to see daylight at night, just wanted some forward badass bright lighting in the factory locations....

I have the links also on page 4, put here's the vent kit again

Haunted House seasons, they have either green or purple leds on their Hearse or truck... which I have seen them around here.

FYI, Colors do not do something with brightness...

something to do with lumens and watts ... I mean more lumens/watts, more brighter. But if you add spot lens cover the led, that will go straight for miles. If you add Flood lens, then that will spread out the ground...

I have leds in mine. I followed a friend of mine to a restaurant, he said my lights are too bright, I told him, sorry but my truck is higher than your car. He realized that. But I never had upcoming traffic flashing their lights at me for my leds.
