The one thing I did like on my 2020 Raptor Access cab was the suicide door fully opened so you weren't stuck in the sally port like other access cabs do. I like the Xtracab single door and the folding seat. The rear compartment has endless possibilities!

I'd rarely use the rear doors anyway though I do agree the ability to have them versus not on the access cab would be nice.

I like the rear door on my F-150 because of that function it's the only extended cab truck I've ever had not much I can compare it to. 2 doors is fine for me.

41,000 + 2,200 + destination fee + whatnot brings that thing into the 45,000 range.
Just wow.... ... and it's a 2024 model to boot.

    I remember a buddy built a 3-2 1400 sq ft brick house on 5 acres for $40,000 back in '75.... ( that's 1975 for the youngsters here, not 1875 ).....
Here we are 50 years later and you can't buy a truck for that anymore....

I don’t see anything on that ad stating $2,200 + destination again. I see a doc fee of $399 and tax.

@2021SR5V64WD: Tax depends on where you live, not where you buy it; and you'll have to pay it regardless. The asking price of that truck is reasonable - and it's trimmed like the OP is considering. It being a 24 gives him more leverage than on a 25.

@PDKTaco: That ain't what the OP is looking for:

The truck in WI meets that criteria.

Still, its $41K for what was a $33K truck 2 years ago. And there has been nearly ZERO inflation on cars those last two years.

I think Toyota is putting a premium on their name. Especially with the cost cuts by producing in Mexico. I just compared the Tacoma I was looking at with the Colorado online. For five grand less than the 2WD Tacoma and upgrade package I looked at with the Colorado you can also get power seat, engine with much more power, upgraded instrument cluster and auto 4WD. Kind of a huge disparity in value.

But then you have a Chevy Colorado.

    No thanks.

Never again will I buy a GM as a daily. My 2006 Colorado engine fell apart while under two warranties and they still cheated me on the job after 6 months of fighting to get it honoured.

At least with Toyota I have had zero issues getting things done under warranty/recall/etc

The passenger door does not look aligned. I'm not a stickler for body panel alignment because I can't usually see it. Maybe it's the silver, maybe it's because it's an XC and not a DC? I do notice it more on extended cab trucks and thought it was tougher to get the doors aligned. Maybe it's an optical illusion. The Xtracab door does not flow as well as it does on the DC it's not bad it just looks different. It could be all the lines on modern truck designs and the doors being a smoother panel that really makes it stand out and that's other manufacturers too.
