I'll shoot you a PM. The easiest way for anyone wondering the same thing is shoot me a PM. If you don't hear from by the next day, shoot me another. I get sidetracked by shiny things...

Installed the supercharger drivers today. Had these puppies professionally aimed. The amber drl is noticeable more intense

That's awesome. I really think a lot more people need this service done with just their OEM's never mind aftermarket.

When i say professionally I actually meant I did it LOL. I work in this shop. And you’re right, almost no one. Zero. Every touches this machine. I was the last person to use it in 2013 haha and I’m using it again in 2025z

Wow...... :rofl:no wonder so many out there with mal-adjusted headlights. Don't get me started with drop in LED's into halogen housings or factory laser beam OEM LED's.

yea looks like if im gona be driving at night with a load in the bed im gona have to adjust the headlights every time. i was flashed by nearly everyone on the road... sorry to those people. headlights are aimed for no load and i dont want to permanently keep them aimed even lower.

maybe the gen 4 version will have an auto leveling feature lol

Our factory lights aren’t auto leveling, wouldn’t it have the same effect? I just aimed mine a little lower as per the instructions for being lifted.

no but the factory halogens weren't bright enough to bother anybody anyways. went years with sled in pan and never ever got flashed.

i dont think you realize i already have the headlights aimed for no load with my lift setup. but if i kept them aimed to compensate for the load permanently they would be pointing at the road directly in front of me and i would barely be able to see where im going.

I get it, but to be fair I find there are many factory leds equipped on run of the mill sedans that are blinding. Right out
    Of the box!

There are currently only XB Evos for the 4Runner and Tacoma. I believe those the only headlamps in the new production facility. I know that there's XBs for the Rams, but AFAIK they will use the same architecture/production facilities is the outgoing XB Gen 2s.

Among our team discussion earlier there was one drawback to this relayed accessory harness: when you turn your DRL back on, which would be by turning the stalk, it would prompt the welcome sequence including the high beam d-optic to illuminate briefly during. Just wanted to mention this.

New Ram headlight models are still in development. Meanwhile, current XB LED models have great feedback and are among the best available from a performance standpoint.

Yea I have this same issue on my tacoma with the xb's. Just got a brand new set of xb evos I have to install, hoping they fit better. One of my lights went out and it was still under warranty. Lucked out and got the evos.

Finally got a tracking for my Evo's :)

Will get them on after they get PPF'd. Don't want these hazing up in 18 months like the Gen2's did.

I was wondering about ppf as well. Going the ceramic coat route myself. Never used either and not sure which would be better, but time will tell I guess. One things for sure tho, uv damage here is no joke. One summer season and you notice changes. Ha.. Usually it's the heads/tails that show signs first. Should see the state of my 1st gen after years of the sun beating down on her, along with (admittedly) neglect from myself.. Too embarrassed to show it. Lol. So gonna try to protect and maintain my new to me (fairly pristine) 3rd gen as much as possible.

On headlights I have used Lamin-X with great results. These are a nightmare shape though so I'm going to have them done @ a shop out here. I ceramic coated the last ones and it did not help at all. At least when the film dies you can peel it off and the lights are perfect underneath.

Hmm. Got me reconsidering that ppf then. Well, I already fucked my set up a lil bit by scratching them by mistake, so I figure I'll see how long they last before showing any signs. Then get a new set when the time comes and ppf those. I'm gonna be optimistic about the better quality lenses on these tho and hoping they'll last years b4 showing any kind of degradation.
