Mrs Green ended up with a gift card to Kohls from a B-I-L two years in a row.

Neither she or I (perhaps unsurprisingly ) are in the target demographic for Kohls it would seem.


So we walked around this store filled with nothing we would ever need and $100 to spend.

Ended up with a toaster oven/air fryer - so far I made some really pertty excellent frozen french fries and a very nice toasted ham & cheese on a nice soft bun - a luxury I purchased just for testing purposes.

I'll take any guidance from more accomplished air frying manly men.

 

I use ours mainly for some frozen breaded chicken from Costco, sometimes with tater tots. It works great for warming up leftover pizza, too.

 

This^^^i wouldn’t really recommend using the fryer thing.

 

It has 4 quartz lamps, two each top & bottom and a fan to circulate the hot air, no oil required.
The fries turned out really good, I have been doing them on a Geo Foreman which works just ok.

 

This is the Best part of mine. Not gonna lie but I did get lotsa mileage with that light til the flip one came on.

 

I started a whole thread on air fryers a while back.. I think they're fantastic but what do I know

 

I remember that thread. Had a few good recipes too.

 

Does it have a popcorn button?

 

It sorta died.. but air fryers are quite handy for loads of things

 

No and I'm not going to try it.

I don't remember the last time I made popcorn.

I buy this, the best popcorn I have had.

 

Corn flavored popcorn?

 

They said it couldn’t be done.

 

Crazy me thought that was just the default flavor.

 

Almost like regular tea.

 

Makes perfect sense - it you don't think about it too hard.

 

down south, i think it's against the law to offer sweet corn with less than one stick of butter per ear.

so depending on the sweet corn, it could be loaded with enough butter to kill an entire family.
