Stabilizer Disconnect Mechanism (SDM) not available with manual transmission?

I've been searching for months for a 2025 TRD Offroad with the SDM and a manual...haven't seen one come up nationwide. Has anyone bought a truck configured with this standalone option?

The Toyota website lets me build it but it doesn't look like they've shipped any in that config!

 

Only 2% of Tacomas made are manuals and that is across 3 different trims. You really are looking for a unicorn.

ETA...not that rare I guess. There are 29 out there on dealer lots.

 

Early on the only ones I could find with SDM were manual transmissions

Thanks, I appreciate it. Looks like all 29 results are 2024 models. There are zero 2025 models with manual TRDOR and SDM. Guess I could wait and hope...

What’s the point of restricting your purchase to a 2025 when there are essentially no differences to a 2024?

 

I'd like to think that Toyota Mexico has gotten a little better after more practice assembling the 2024s for a year. So, 2025.

 

I have a 6MT w/ SDM. It started showing up around June, I was looking for a few months. Then it seemed like a few dozen dropped in the summer. So they do exist.

Update for anyone in the same boat:

Over the last couple weeks I've been periodically refreshing the inventory CSV. I haven't seen any 2025 Tacomas with the SDM. Neither automatic nor manual. Come on, Toyota...

 

I have 2024 off road with 6 speed manual and SDM. It’s the manual that takes forever to get

 

I placed a deposit on a 2025 OR manual with the SDM and factory lift kit. The dealership already told me it's going to take awhile before it's made so we'll see. I'll post when I get it in a few months.

 

They've got an allocation lined up for that? That's pretty cool.

 

It is. Now it's just the long waiting game

 

If they have an allocation lined up then you should have it within 60ish days. They should be abould to give you a week range. If they can't then I doubt they have one.

 

Good to know. Fortunately I have time on my hands so I can wait they get an allocation.
