Congrats! My father was extremely proud to be a PEEE. He had the license plate thing, just recently sent them to a fellow TWer that collects plates. It’s definitely a big accomplishment.

You know fellers it is easy to start feeling that way, trust me I've been down that road and beat myself up for all the things I could have done.

But let's take a step back and look at this guy in the mirror as opposed to looking at yourself -- sure, he might have been able to accomplish more -- however don't shortchange that beat down fellow in the mirror, I bet he has some good qualities too.

It is great to be a success, a leader, a professional, famous, etc -- but even more pedestrian folks still have some people who think they are important, care about, look up to, maybe even try to be a bit like & respect them.

That my friends has value too and so do you.

A lot of it is just simply understanding that very few other places are doing any better. And the places that do better generally aren't looking for new employees!

Plenty of recurring drama and idiocy at my work. But I am far calmer about it because I can selectively take part in it.

And when I do need to fix someone else's mistake, they don't get on me for 'falling behind', which is about all I can ask for.

Yes, drama & idiocy flourished and most of it came from the office...

The one perk of my old job was that I was almost completely left out of all that nonsense, I just had to have countermeasures planned to compensate for their next great idea...

    ...that didn't work...

    ...again...

    ...and again...

    ...and again...

    ...and again...

Question for people who probably use pneumatic tools. I got some pinches from pneumatic tools and they left black spots on my skin. It's been 3 weeks. Do they go away? Or change? :annoyed::annoyed:

Sounds like a blood blister. They usually don't last 3 weeks. I'd bet that the layer of blood is trapped between the layers of skin. It'll probably just need time to reabsorb.

Not related - are you remembering to oil your pneumatic tools regularly?
It is important for long trouble free service.

Honestly it looks like I have pepper flakes stuck to my hands.

    Skins not raised. Just discolored.

Yeah eventually they sluff off like a callous. I never timed them but you could use aa sterilized needle to release the blister
