I've been seeing posts on Facebook about the LGRP black label sidewalls tearing. Not many, but enough to notice even though I wasn't really paying attention to them. Not sure if it was just a bad shipment to them or what but I haven't heard anything about any other tires.

Same, but if they're all of a sudden maybe it's just a bad batch?

Got a feeling they're coming from China. Which means Chinese new year delay.

    Awe shit of course

It's alright, I have my Reefs servo installed.

    20250127_164558.jpg

Thinking I can run it as is and really just bought the NSDRC so it better matches the body.

Have you laid out your wiring?

This is how mine will be, and once the motor arrives I'll go ahead and mount the ESC and RX to the skids.

Interesting, got a tracking number for my NSDRC rear plate

Cool to see they're also in CA. My motor hasn't even shipped though so that sucks.

So, after beating my head for hours trying to figure out what's binding and why, here are my findings. First of all, I tore apart the front axle again and realized that when I swapped everything over to this housing (cause I stripped a screw in the other housing) I didn't swap over the bearings that sit in the outer tube that the axel shaft sits in. I thought for sure this was causing excessive play and creating a bind.....nope. Threw it all back together and still binding. Swapped to a shorter front drive shaft....nope still binds. Slow crawled as slow as I could to see what was going on and boom, it's not the front it was the fucking rear this whole time. Tore apart the rear axle to investigate. There's a missing washer on the back side of the pinion gear causing just enough movement to get the rear gearset in a bind. :censored:. Gonna email LGRP with some low expectations based of @Kwikvette experience with them. Wish me luck.

    Shiiiiiiit

I will say, my last email was more of a complaint-with-suggestion about how users with no experience can perceive things listed on their site.

The plus side is, in today's email response, LGRP acknowledged my mentioning of including hardware with their MR24 transmission to which they agree. Funny enough, if you buy their Furitek Micro Komodo it comes with the M2 hardware with the appropriate length of 10mm!

I was like no shit, my Mini Komodo comes with M2 x 12mm but the 10mm length is exactly what's needed to work as well so they're going to include it now with all MR24 transmissions.

They also offered to send me a set of wheel caps as I mentioned my cap fell off. They are indeed glued and think maybe the shaft may stick out longer than a stock variant hence the cap popping off.

If it makes you feel better, I said fuck it and threw some money at them yet again and bought their Furitek Micro. Amain still hasn't shipped the one I bought so maybe I'll just return that with the Mini Komodo I bought.

    Same length, just different bends?

I love how flexy my setup is but, I don't know if the chassis is supposed to flex as much as it does.

What I mean is, the chassis flexes well on the pivot balls that are on the links. This is on purpose?

Don't tell Vanquish I did this. It's just temporary until the real body arrives. At least I can test it today.

Yeah you can see the o-rings on the shocks.

It's the pivot balls on the links for a fact. Just wondering if your guys links are doing the same.

Be curious how Mazz links do once I can buy a set.

I may or may not have axles delivered today. I'll let you know what I find. That lateral movement does seem a bit much.

The pivot balls are symmetrical on my links if that matters.

I know some makers make them specific to one side, but these aren't side specific.

My GX470 is nowhere like that, but it also has a ton of shit like battery tray, etc.
