    Nice. What do you burn?

Probably should have done more research before I bought a whole ton, but the price seemed right. Previous owners of the house said they burned about a ton a year

Depends on price and availability, but it’s usually Maine wood pellets, or something I’ve used in the past. Never the most expensive and usually not the cheapest.

I've burned pellets in 2 different houses/stoves for about 15 years. I have used these for the past couple of seasons. Ordered last year and this year from Wood Pellet Warehouse in Jay. Free delivery. I find that the cheapest pellets have way too much ash.

Nice, I ordered from the same place. Quick delivery.

I almost bought a ton of those pellets too. But deiced on the Upcountry being they were a little cheaper. Current price of Cubex is $379/US ton

They seem to be a good company. I bought those in early June and will take delivery in the next few weeks. They said to just call them when I wanted them.

Didnt get out last Thurs until about 11pm. Seemed like the lights were winding down at that point plus clouds rolling in.

Nevertheless very cool experience to finally see them in person with the naked eye!

Used to live in Maine. Went to school at UMO and then lived in Portland for a bit. Damn I miss it so much.

Out here in Colorado, which ain't so bad either, but there's nothing quite like Maine.

Yeah, totally spoiled here. Though you pay a hefty price to live here, literally and figuratively.

Hey Maine dwellers, my wife and I planning a trip to Bar Harbor this summer and I wanted to see if anyone had opinions of pet friendly hotels. We’re bringing our 13 year old son and Shiba puppy. She’ll be about 10 or 11 months old. I’ve researched and see that it’s supposed to be really pet friendly up there. Sadly we won’t be traveling in my truck lol.

Besides a good hotel, or possibly Airbnb, looking for fun things to do/see/eat and anything else.

Hope everyone had a good Christmas and a happy New Years.

Anyone have experience filling oxygen & acetylene bottles in the area? If so what is your preferred vendor? Maine Oxy is the go-to for a lot of folks, but I know there are a few other options in the Portland / LA area.

    I’m surprised I haven’t lost power yet.

Maine Oxy is my go-to for welding mix. We used them and AirGas when I was at my old employer.
