Good morning. Up early today and have a pork shoulder on the smoker. Pulled pork for dinner and I hope to package up 4 to 5 dinners for an easy meal when I am recovering from surgery. I hope your favorite team won yesterday, I know mine lost big time.

    Puppy hyper, parents exhausted.

All good, she has learned this is home, so let the shenanigans begin!

She did hear a LARGE pack of coyotes last night. Wow. Not real close to the house, but sounded like at least 15-20.

26°F. Get a break for pickleball today. In one hour!

Happy Monday Morning Porch Folks :hattip:

Watched the Eagles Game at Fat Tony's. It got crowded toward the end of the game but most folks were there for the Buffalo game. Glad the Eagles won but sad Buffalo lost. It would have been a better game.

    Pool day today

Have a good day folks and be safe.

Good morning. Was a nice day outside yesterday. The pork shoulder came out great and was able to package up two family size vac sealed packs for future meals. I helped the wife clean out kitchen cabinets yesterday. We got rid of a lot of glass wear and other stuff we do not use. Need to run a few errands today after I come home from the gym. Pretty much a lazy day.

Morning kids :hattip:get to go to the big box hardware store today, more paint stuff. Most people that work there are not very knowledgeable, unfortunately. Ten years ago we had lumber yards and paint stores. We still have a local hardware that I frequent as much as possible, even though it costs more.

 planning ahead is a great idea Tom. The vac seals are amazing. Any more meals planned?

So true. If I have an issue and I need information I go to you tube and even there you have to hunt to find the right answer . The worst bunch are many customer tech supports that don't know anything except how to answer a phone.
    Nuff said

Good morning all. Annual inventory at work is now complete and reports printed. We purged a LOT of old seals and parts this year, long overdue in my opinion. :pccoffee:

Yup I go to a local hardware store near me. Sometimes I go to the big box store for a large purchase but most of the time to the local old school hardware store. It's the kind that has a showcase of buck and case knives.
I've been working on a new cross design for a church fundraiser for the benevolence fund. I purchased the pattern but add my own touches to it.
These are for a donation to the benevolence fund of $20 or more.

This one sold right away, had some very nice figure in it.
    20250125_164317.jpg
Gotta another batch in the works.
    20250119_163159.jpg
I provide my time and the materials as my contribution. 4 sold the first day. Pretty cool.

    Evening all:

Looks like the price of eggs is going to go even higher, bird flu was just found in a flock of 50,000 chickens just South of me in the Lehigh Valley, every one of those 50,000 chickens will be exterminated. :(
