Are the aluminum brackets going to the metal outer fender, or the side of the cab?

I don't have a pic of it but there is a fender mount that i bolted the the aluminum bracket. Its the middle bolt. Nothing mounted to the door jams. You want the bolts to be short as possible to clear the door swing when opening the doors.

Everytime I visit this thread, I'm once again woefully reminded of how little money I make.

Between the recent JD Fab posts, the "I probably should've gone LT instead of MT but literally wouldn't be able to park at home or at work" bullshit, and my Youtube feed being completely full of ShotShow coverage...

i don't understand the "you can't go through drive-throughs anymore with LT" thing. similar to your parking comment. unless you have some offset wheels, a 3.5'' LT with "normal" wheels maintains your side view mirrors as the widest point of the truck by about an inch. truck still fits in the same holes. hasn't changed my parking or tacobell habits one bit.

I took this comical picture of my neighbor's custom mobile home the other day. My parking setup is basically the same, but reversed.

He's not backed all the way up into the spot because the water main for the neighbor's unit sticks out several inches into his spot. I have the same issue on the opposite side, with the added drawbacks that (1) there's a parking block protecting the water main and (2) the shitty parking lot layout prevents me from parking that far out without blocking other vehicles. If I'm pulling nose in, I actually have to fold in my driver-side mirror to give me enough room to avoid hitting the carpost support post while avoided driving up onto the parking block. I've actually got some nice scrapes on the carport support where the kickout on my sliders has tapped it a couple times, too. Long story short is that I'm basically screwed unless I can convince my neighbor to petition the HOA to relocate his water main onto his patio, with the associated underground work, which is never going to happen.

The carport is wide enough, but, as my truck is currently built, I have a couple inches of clearance over my cab-height RTT under those stupid horizontal beams. If I was running LT, I would presumably have a greater ride height to begin with, and almost certainly would want to be running 37s or 39s instead of 35s, so I'm almost certain that I'd be hitting that beam.

TL;DR: We need to sell this place ASAP and get a place with a garage.

Alright, yeah....that's an odd/limiting parking situation.

My truck doesn't fit in the garage as-is, let alone with LT.

Yep. Truck still fits in our standard 2 car garage next to the wife’s 4runner. It’s a tight squeeze but works.

JD did the swap. I do have 2 spare quarts on hand but have no idea how much it actually holds.

How much of an interference will there be between an Archive relocation and the frame brace kit?
