Parker is going in today also for MRI to check her shunt… no issues just a check up! Would like traveling mercies back from K.C. for them. Thanks!

Thanks for the Prayers! They took one sample out and said I’m good! Gonna talk about how to sew it up now. Went with middle option… I’m no Brad Pitt by any means so I settled for the run of the mill average redneck skin graft option!

My old Boss Randy is very sick with Covid! Please say prayers for him. He also requested Prayers which is a great sign that He is beginning to trust in The Lord.

I wish you the happiest of Thanksgiving’s

I have always thought that Thanksgiving should be celebrated daily and not just once a year. After all there are so many things to be thankful for. Even the smallest of things should be reflected upon and celebrated. A.A Milne the author of Winnie the Pooh wrote that: “Piglet noticed that even though he had a very small heart, it could hold a rather large amount of gratitude.” And that: “Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.” (Winnie the Pooh). But there is a huge difference between saying thank you and practicing gratitude. Practicing gratitude can be summed up in two powerful quotes, one by Debasish Mridha who stated: “Give thanks as if you are living just to appreciate life. Live as if your life depends on love, kindness, gratitude, and thanksgiving.” And the other by Thorton Wilder who stated: “We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” Those who practice gratitude choose to live in such a way that they recognize that even the smallest seemingly insignificant things possess great value and then take the time to acknowledge their worth.

We know that we serve a God who delights
In the praises of his people, in fact we are told that he inhabits them. As you take time to gather and give thanks for his many blessings know that wherever two or more are gathered, there he is in your midst. May you find his peace this holiday season.

 

Great message! Update on my old boss, he is doing good and said he’d be back to work next week sometime. We had a very pleasant family gathering and we expressed our thankfulness to God. I ate way too much but it was so GOOD!

Say a Prayer for Parker please! She had a seizure while on vacation with her Mommy and Daddy. They used the one medication they had when she had seizure and don’t have another if she has a problem before getting home. I’m sure my Daughter will think about that the next time they travel out of state. Lesson learned…Thanks!

They made it home safe! Thanks for your Prayers! Sadly our little lady has had more seizures lately than normal. Not sure why but it is very difficult to give her the medicine that prevents them. She puts up a fight and doesn’t want to take it. Daughter says that it has a good taste but Parker doesn’t want to take it. She’s a little rebel but I hope for her sake she starts taking it or miraculously starts doing better.

We went to a birthday party tonight for Gboy deluxe, Parker’s brother. I got to sit by Parker while we ate. She was just as cute as she could be and like most kids was playing with Moms phone. She would occasionally reach for my hand to help her with what was on the screen. She loves to watch cartoons but absolutely hates advertisements on YouTube. Anyway she was really cute tonight and I enjoyed getting to spend extra time with her. She randomly has seizures and for a little while afterwards she is partially paralyzed. After a few hours or in this case a whole day she is back to normal. She recently has been trying to use her walker and stand up like a big girl. Prior to this she didn’t want anything to do with the walker. She is coming along real slowly and her cousin that just turned 1 in November is already walking. So Parker is better than 3 years behind. I really Pray that she makes some progress because I don’t know how my Daughter will be able to take care of her as she gets bigger. We love her very much and appreciate your prayers!

 

Well Parker has the Flu…. Sadly so does my Daughter. Hope you all are doing fine but am requesting Prayers for both of them and us. Flu is rampant unfortunately.
