Anyone maybe looking for an end of Feb beginning of March mod day? I’ll be planning one with or without you.
    :bananadead:
I have a ton of parts to install on the front before I’m allowed to be looking at the 63 swap.

I could probably due March. Lift parts will all be in and the sliders will be painted. Biggest part will be disassembling the front shocks/springs so I can reuse the springs.

Sounds good, not sure where your at welding wise but if you need anything just shoot me a message.

Also my brother got a flux 125 for $60 new. I’ll probably bring that to meetups when I go as an option for broken bolts and such

I could be in, would love to figure out where my clunking is coming from and what I need to do to fix it. And need to figure out what to spend money on next, and you folks seem to be good at guiding peoples wallets to that empty zone. But seriously, need to decide on light setup and what if any is the need/wanted mod.

and of course I’m still great at standing around watching shit get done

Keep me posted. Id be oil change and tire rotation at the most, so i can just come to get dirty under someone else's truck. So, as usual, plan around not-me and if i make it, i make it!

Actually by then, I should do my oil and bumpstops. Not sure what else I have. Might bring one of the shitboxes and work on that

This is the lift I purchased from Hotshot off-road.

    No coils or UCA.

Did a 1000 mile checkup on the rear end. Finally painted everything and put spots for bumpstops. I'll put them in when I get home from work.

I really should have made a little flat ramp to the start of this mount before I painted/WWed.

Mines well on its way to falling off the muffler. Just keep in mind you may want a antiwrap bar and that kind of occupies the same place as the exhaust.

I think I'll be able to get away with a smaller muffler

Yep, that’s where mine left the chat. Little bit of a drone in the cab but not bad.

Been following this and might have to pull the trigger. He now has cat back also. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/sub-zero-equal-length-y-pipe.836810/

His stuff is badass. With the catback you might run into clearance problems. I am planning on running a muffler with the inlet and outlet offset like this so the muffler is off to the passenger side. I am just gunna make mine out of aluminized at first then remake it out of 304 when that inevitably rusts out

I have my OE Y pipe (which has a shitty high clearance reroute done to it) and my OE muffler (cut above the axle)if you want that. Only problem is that it was cut just before the flange from the Y to the muffler.

Thanks but I’m just going to hit Lou’s near me for a cat back exhaust this week. Calling them now to see what’s open.
