Yes it requires JD Fab Inner Fenders.

If your core is already going out then your inner fenders are next. We decided that a new core support for OEM inner fenders was not a good sale. Especially how they would attach to each other was just presenting a new, more apparent weak spot in the front clip. We wanted to offer a complete solution, not another set of band-aids.

Fits OEM headlights. Once the kits arrive we will mockup the DOT headlights that @Evenflow spec'd out

Alright, that makes sense. Sounds like more work, but... will probably be necessary anyway.

    I'm in .

Other than being a stronger setup is there any other advantages it will provide?

I haven't actually looked too closely at how the stock core support is mounted. What's the install time like for this?

More clearance in front of tire at full bump.
Ability to add aftermarket trans cooler.
    Options for aftermarket headlights.
More room for custom behind the grill lighting
Additional supports to support/secure the grill in place.

What type of frame mount is this supposed to work with, OEM or a poly bushing?

    Yes
either will work as long as it locates it properly, it is basically a stronger, more versatile oe replacement core support that solves a lot of issues ie: cracking core supports, hood pins ripping out of core supports etc and provides a lot more options for custom goodies

Has anyone that's still running a bed replaced the factory x-brace/spare tire mount brace with something lower profile?

I'm pulling the bed off to install a flatbed, and the drawer underneath is limited by that frame brace.

Long travel related because it seems like everyone in here has cut and plated their original frame.

Cut the stock one out, plate the frame, and build whatever new cross member you need.

Some more progress, pics are crappy but frame is 100% boxed, new carrier bearing cross member will go in next which will also be an X or V brace for the frame. Bummed my cage budget evaporated but I think this will be pretty much as good as it gets minus a cage …

    IMG_5010.jpg

Bed cage is looking pretty sweet too, they cut the oe bed mounts off the top of the frame, rebuilt their own and added an extra up front too

What does that CORVA sticker say?

CORVA means prostitute in Bulgarian, Russian, Serbian, Czech, Polish, and Slovak.
