Evening Carl. Individual fisherman? Or commercial fishing?

Yup eggs are getting harder to find here too. Pasture raised are gone, all we can find are commercial white eggs.

Warmer yesterday allowed me to chip away at the ice a little, not that anyone could notice. Never been this bad, and this is only Jan. Worked several days on the driveway.. remove, prep, wait, remove next layer. UGH! Have to take advantage of warmer weather, if/when we get any. Mailbox open for business again.. wouldn't want to miss any bills. Kudos to mail delivery peeps, they do a good job every winter. Few people clean out a roadside mailbox approach. I try to get it before it's been packed down, or backfilled with snow, ice. Sometimes you get the elevator, sometimes the shaft.

Good morning all. Little warmer this morning but going to be pretty windy later today. Considered riding the bike to work, brought the truck again. So ready for warmer weather here. :pccoffee:

Sealed up two sliced ribeye steak and Frijeta vegetable pouches last night.

Arnt, you glad you are retired and do not have to drive that route every day! Road construction may be a thing of the past.

Good morning. Off to the gym early today. Taking the wife's car to the auto shop for an oil change and tire rotation, I need to be there at 8am. 2PM pre operation surgery meeting at the doctor's office today. Going to try and fit a car wash in after the auto appointment.

We have a new sewer system being put in, in our small town. The road south of us was dug up and repaved in less than two weeks. Done! Then they moved to our road and they have been here since the beginning of November. And no end in sight. I don't know how many times they've dug up stuff that has already been dug up, but they keep moving the backhoes up and down the street continuously, and the dump trucks seem like they are removing the same dirt they hauled in a week before. GAH!

    Morning all:
Looks like the kitty has a new buddy Paul!

Individual fishermen with a crew of 3 or 4 on sport fishing boats with flying bridges, maybe could be considered commercial fishing on a small scale since the one boat got two tuna that they sold for over $8,000.
Was really interesting how they went about it, even hiring a spotter plane to look for the tuna on the surface and then direct them to them, then one of them walks out on a long thin extension off the bow of the boat and harpoons the tuna with a hand thrown harpoon. The harpoon has an electrified tip on it that kills them instantly so that they don't build up adrenalin which would make them worth much less.

Was watching something the other day that I also found interesting, in Montana they have a shed hunting season for Elk antlers, there were over a thousand people lined up on the opening day to look for them in the one area. One of the wardens there said that a large set of Elk sheds could be sold for around $1,000, guess that's why so many people are out there looking for them!

GOOD LUCK with the second surgery Chuck!
