OK - so ECT switch is simple momentary, and ECU controls/changes the ECT status with each ‘contact’ made.

    Thanks for the details!

Can you give comparison of the 2 covers? I have backflip and am wondering why you swapped?

Mostly because I wanted a tonneau that is still fully functional with a bed rack. I plan on getting the upTOP rack that works with the retrax.

And partly because I have to move a some stuff regularly for my wife’s business that requires me to flip the bakflip up and I don’t like the back window being covered.

As far as comparison the bakflip is great, I just thought this would work better for me.

It’s an easy diy, with a couple jack stands and a jack! Videos on YouTube! The OEM 1/2 “Pro” blocks are about $10 each, and your factory ubolts will work for a 1/2” inch. I did the Pro suspension 1/2” rear block and added 1/4 spacer on top the front.

    Thanks!

I've seen video on this...need jacks to hold up the axle/differential to insert in between leafs.

More questions to ask the dealership...right now, the shop is super busy.

I just want to get this all in one swoop to include alignment...so I don't have to piece-meal this project.

Dealership should not have to mess with the TSS since it is a Shock Lift Kit only but I will confirm.

Like I said, I'm in no hurry to get this done.

    This and that
dont Let them calibrate the tss if they tell you it needs it. That’s bullshit. One of my 4 grilled needed to be calibrated, I drove a couple hundred miles and it calibrated its self just fine.

The block is the easiest part. I also added a “heritage” grille before the lift and neither time did it affect my radar sensor, it reset after a few miles with the new grille, I even covered the sensor and didn’t use a high dollar “garnish”. The only issue was the dragon once.

I bought the Garnish for like $45 when I bought the grill from EmpyreOffRoad--it is starting to discolor from sunlight. (Not in this photo)

    Still looks good when washed.

I remember seeing a post about the spare rubbing on the frame when stored and a few folks put a piece of rubber over the spare then cranked it back up to store it. This is what I did.
