What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Picked up a spare set of headlights to start on V3 set if retrofits.

 

Currently I'm set up for 8" up but am going to a 16" shock and frenching spring hangers to dial in more uptravel. I had a feeling I wouldn't need as much Hydro bump but it was the same cost as a 2-in stroke and like you said I will be modifying the stroke a bit

 

It seems they all eventually get to this point if you dive down the rabbit hole far enough lol

 

LED or HID? I'm toying with the idea of doing a retrofit for the truck. I really like how they turned out on my integra, only makes sense to do a proper retrofit on the daily now.

 

Keeping all the D2S stuff.

Ditching all the chrome guts and blacking everything out in em to make em look more aggressive.

I’m also gonna put the colormatched grille back on.

I’m getting bored with how the truck looks but I don’t wanna spend a shit ton of money changing a buncha stuff.

 

Had to make some adjustments but I like the end product. Rocker panel covers they are made for 3rd gens and the tricolor was originally the red orange and yellow. A little heat gun and some better 3m double sided tape and voilà

Poor ratchet strap management (didn't tie off the 'tail) led to a destroyed tail light housing. The strap went under the rear tire while in reverse and it slipped over the corner of the bumper and shattered the lens.

Rock Auto had a TYC replacement to my door in two days and it is impossible to distiguish from OEM.

 

Amazon's tireless Wolfbox advertising finally won me over. Got tired of not being able to see out my rear-view mirror due to a bed rack and RTT so I figured I might as well throw one of these dash cam/rear view cameras on.

Ha! Yes. In fact behind headrest is a pack of wet wipes and her door panel has a hat and gloves. Need all the storage I can get but overall it's working out

Liottle update to my 2010 prerunner. Went from 16" steel wheels to these 17"s from an 08 Lexus

 

I'm tall and use a gear loft in my AC. Cuts out a fair amount of the view. That's even when I'm not running my soft topper. With that on the mirror becomes irrelevant unless I'm in reverse.
