Won't help mpg if outfitted the same. Might perform a bit better of you hold gears longer

Definitely rod related. Idk if the bolt or the rod itself, but I'm staying under 16 PSI until I hear otherwise haha

What tires would you recommend? Don’t want to go smaller than a 30 or 31…

The tire calculator will help you do some comparisons

Okay. I was just wondering about brands and tread patterns.

It would be helpful to define how you use the truck in what conditions. Many folks choose tires based on looks over need.

IE, if you want max mpg, great street manners and some light off road use, Michelin Defenders would be solid.

If your really focused on MPG, a truck isn't the place. And many truck owners don't actually need a truck, they just want one. Only you can decide that.

if you’re getting 13, I’m not that bad with 9 in town and 11 on the highway

It's less Tacoma and more mod
First things first is to just double check your measurements. Can't really comment on anything without that. But you should have the potential for at least 16mpg, the heaviest auto/supercharged tacoma I know can at least manage that on the highway.

Oh I do too! Lol. Yeah, I’m not whining about, just wondering if it was right, or normal, and wondering if there was like cheap things to improve. Thanks for the info y’all!
