If it were anyone else making the claim I would have a hard time believing it, but in a small Texas border town...I can see it.

 

Over the last month and a half or two, the kiddo has had an increased obsession over cars.

He points at them and yells it out every time we're in the car (and sees them on the road), when I take him out, and insists on carrying one with him to eat even.

I'm gonna have a shitbox for him before he's even driving

A friend the other day referred to someone's kid as being a "fuck trophy"

She was craving girl scout cookies and asked "who's fuck trophy is a girl scout"

 

I'm partial to crotch goblin or semen demon myself but it depends on the set and setting

 

Speaking of which, heading out now for my first vasectomy appt....just a meet and greet with the doc before the actual procedure later next month. I'm guessing it's going to be one of those "you're absolutely sure?" meetings

who wants to go to a 1.5-2hr weekly planning meeting after lunch? i don’t wanna

 

only once a week every week

 

We have a daily 30 minute planning meeting Monday-Wednesday

 

stand-ups are gross

 

we do those too. used to be 15minutes a day but they've also tripped to 45min a day. it's crazy how adding 1 person to the team can triple the time sink of every single meeting

 

Not having to fluid film anymore continues to creep higher and higher on my list of reasons to leave this part of the city.
The smell...haunts me.

 

Yuck.

 

i really don't wanna but it may be time to pursue other options. being a developer sucks when 1/3+ of your time is being micromanaged explaining every decision and talking to people about talking to people about talking about what someone said about some other thing
