15-16 under normal mixed driving right now in the winter, 18-20 on the highway. Gets a little better (1-2mpg) in the summer. This is the best I’ve squeezed out of it when loaded with camping gear and cruising at 65. I’ll take it for the hilly roads we have here.

Mine is around 18mpg. I only got above 20 mpg at about 22mpg to 24mpg when I drove for 14 hours.

 

Who really gives a shit what your mpg is. You bought a truck. No one buys a truck for its mpg. If your truck mpg bothers you , sell the truck and get a Prius, or a bicycle or ride a horse.

Real world mileage, here we go...

These are my mileage logs since I started tracking. I may have missed a tank full or two. I tend to top off the gas once I get near or down to 1/4 tank. Driving conditions mainly commute to work and home, short drives to lunch in between (avg 40 miles per day). The commute is stop and go traffic and the trip computer averages between 15.5-16.5 depending how back traffic is for that day. Gym 3-4 days per week local (maybe 2-3 miles each way). On weekends I get in around 15 miles round trip for one trip to the gym with Friends. These are driving conditions for most of the logs (the outlier is the 18.06 mpg which was the result of a longer trip). Put in the time to log your mileage between fills ups and you get a full dataset versus a one-off snapshot of the dash which does not tell you much.

Ballpark this is pretty much in line with what I get with very similar driving conditions. MPG is pretty much dependent on how many lights I hit!

Long road trips on freeway I get 19-20.

Same in my case. It is tuned like a sports car engine, I read roots of this engine and its built on 2GR-FE, which was replacement for 1MZ-FE ( Lexus RX300, Toyota Solara ) and 2JZ GE ( old Supra engine )

 

I have a big RTT on my topper and sliders/aluminum skids. Usually get around 17-18 both city and interstate. 55mph highways it’ll get 19-20. However, I just got new tires that are 10lbs heavier than my last set, and I’ve only seen 15 on the interstate so far. So that’s fun…. It basically never shifts into 6th gear over 65mph.

I think it was probably struggling to get 18mpg with all my add ons, and a heavier tire just pushed it over that edge.
