My plan is to have my shock guy add them to my ADS's as well as do custom length hoses to hide them under the skid instead of the current spot they are now:

where did you get the outlet itself? Or do you have a part number for it? I love how clean this looks!

No idea if you can. I mean Im sure you can just buy some replacement resis from Fox with the dual adjusters and slap them on there. Probably not chea but should work?

Any thoughts as to what is causing this white residue buildup on these hoses? I have replaced the heater control valve and did clean up the residue but it has since returned with a slight coolant smell after the engine has been running. The valve does not appear to be leaking either.

My stock location reservoirs would rub the tire really bad while backing up and articulation. Like when turning around on a trail.
I went to a shop that made replacement forklift hydraulic lines and came up with this.

I may see if custom bent hardlines are available to get rid of the center fitting.

This one also works (BlueSea 1045 USB charger), and you can just use the existing OEM cigarette lighter plug on the tabs. It's USB-A, so gives a bit more choice on connectivity, and still 60W of charging across both ports.

Mine have worked well, and I like them protected by the skid, not having them in the wheel well means not getting sprayed by crap as much. I’ve got Solo lowers ready to go on which’ll move the lower ball joint forward an inch, so it’ll increase the clearance around the hose. The dark spot on the hose where the tire rubbed is from before I zip tied the hose in, there’s no contact now, I checked articulation/clearance without co’s mounted and cycled the suspension at full lock, everything clears

Well, I wrote this up more than a month ago, but then forgot to post it, hahaha.

First Impressions of Dyna R452 5th Gear

Definitely better gas mileage (so far), nicer engine noises on the highway, 4Lo 5th is really nice now.

Gutless AF in 5th. Gutlessness compounded by the new wheels/tires I installed just before the swap.

Jury still out on how good of an idea this really was. Will update again in 6-12mo.

Many more details and ramblings as usual: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-and-adventures.484602/page-273#post-30421658

Do you use 4lo 5th much? I've always assumed overdrive in 4lo was a no-no, although I have no basis for that assumption.

I take the urge to shift into 4Lo 5th as a sign I should go back to 4Hi or even 2WD. Even 4Lo 4th feels guilty sometimes. Like I said, no basis for that, it's just how I programmed myself. Sounds like it might be worth reprogramming myself.

There's a winding, steep, washboardy but otherwise well-maintained road near me that starts around 7000 ft and goes up to over 9000. Low-range always feels a little too low and high range always feels a little too high. It would probably feel better if I used 5th.
