I have lived in Central Bucks for almost 20 years, and I am getting fed the fuck up with the antics of people in the Doylestown area!

June 2023: Truck vandalized in Wawa parking lot because somebody didn’t like a sticker in my back window.
December 2024: Scrap A/C unit stolen out of bed in 7-Eleven parking lot, presumably by a drug addict.
January 2025: Crazy hippie in a station wagon blasts his horn to get my attention and gives me the bird totally unprovoked, presumably because he doesn’t like a magnet on my tailgate expressing support for a certain country.

There have numerous other incidents in Doylestown Borough since before COVID, not all involving my truck, ranging from two separate incidents of pedestrians punching the side of my truck because they didn’t think I waited long enough at a stop sign to some crazy lady in a Subaru slamming on her brakes in the middle of a busy intersection and screaming at me for walking my boss’s dog on a 95°F day because she thought it was too hot for the dog.

With regards to the dog incident, what am I supposed to do?!?! One of my jobs when working at Puck was to walk the manager’s dog, as her house was within walking distance. Am I supposed to let the dog take a shit in the house just because it’s in the 90s outside?

People really need to mind their own fucking business.

 

It’s a dog. They managed to make it at least 14,000 years outside. (Domesticated)
The lady needs to quit her bitchin’. It could be worse, the dog could have been born 200 years ago and lived “in the weather” all the time. The dog has it made. That lady can fuck off………

 

She drove off like a bat out of hell because I think she realized many people would have thrown a rock through her back window. Another time while I was walking Tully on a hot day, a guy in a Tacoma just like mine stopped in the middle of the road and started bitching at me about it being too hot for the dog.

People also like to give unwanted opinions about my dog Porter being scared when I have him out in public.

 

I can see it being g too hot on their paws on black asphalt, or something like that.
But on a walk, in 90’ degree weather. It’s a dog. They can do it.
Us human can do it too. We’re just spoiled.

I picked up the parts at the dealer yesterday…

 

I replaced the rubber bushings just minutes ago, and they seem to have corrected the problem!

 

My hood has fluttered for years. I’ll try the rubber grommets as well. On a windy day I can’t focus on the road because I think my hood will fly off at any moment. Hopefully those grommets do the trick!

 

My hood still flutters, but it doesn't vibrate as noisily as it used to. I think the windy and abnormally cold winter (even by PA standards) we've had contributes to the issue...

 

Sorry my hood is fine but I need to know more about this discount, is this at all Toyota dealerships of just an online vendor?

 

I live in the Philadelphia suburbs, and Thompson Toyota in Doylestown, PA is the dealership I go to for parts and (rarely) for service. They did my frame replacement in November 2021. I would imagine that there are other dealerships in this country that do high mileage discounts, but Thompson is the only one in my area that I'm aware of...

 

The hood is not as noisy since I replaced the bumpers, but I am still hearing that metal on metal vibration at highway speeds; I think it’s because the bracing has separated form the hood panel…

 

I helped out with this Mercedes, but it was a rush job for a customer so I didn’t do much…

 

I pulled this Corolla into the wash bay, but a coworker ended up doing it because I had to go pick up a Cadillac from a body shop…

 

A coworker drove me up to Ottsville to pick up this Cadillac…
