    I have a 2003 tacoma. 3.4l 4wd and having to replace a clutch. How much does a clutch replacement cost?

    Around 5.5 hours if you go by book hours.
    Not including parts.

    Price = (Labor rate x 5.5) + Parts.

    You’ll need to figure out if you are going to turn the flywheel or replace it?

    Parts will include, but not limited too.

    Clutch disk
    Pressure plate.
    Flywheel or resurface.
    Throw out bearing
    Pilot bearing
    Clutch fluid.

    It all depends who does the work.
    Dealership or independent shop?

    Rough guess would be $1,200-$1,600 with good aisin or better parts.

    Independent shop. He replaced transmission for 450 bucks

    So parts plus about another hour of labor to replace the flywheel and pilot bearing.
