In the last few months, hit a milestone on a road trip, added some topo accents to the interior, got it tuned, upsized the front brakes and rotors using ones for a 5th gen 4runner and had the exhaust reroute done.

I got them from 1221Laser but I don't remember them being that much. You may be able to find some cheaper ones out there.

Did you notice any difference in road feel with the bigger 4R rotors and calipers? (Harsher ride or no difference.) TIA

No difference in the ride quality. I did notice an improvement in stopping distance. Certainly gained back what I lost after adding e-rated 33s, steel bumper and winch.

These two threads were very helpful in deciding what direction I ended up going in. Even though the 1st one references a 2nd gen, I can confirm it also works on the 3rd gen platform.

So these just change the seat angle a bit which help alleviate back pain or makes it more comfortable etc?

    This and that
Dessert does it was and must still be my favorite “mod”. My calfs and thighs would ache no matter which way I adjusted that seat. I drive over a 1k to get the truck home and put the dessert does it in right away.

In theory, yes. While some people cannot believe they waited others take them off within 5 minutes because the new seat position is intolerable.

Muscles worn out from years of use, beat-up sciatica nerves, fluctuating levels of body mass (not shaming ... just stating objectively) ... all these and more make them saviors or torture devices.

Nothing quite like a couple pieces of cake or stack of ice cream sandwiches to prop up the seat.:rimshot:
