AWE Exhaust, KARTBOY exhaust hangers, custom 1/0 exhaust grounding, lots of Titanium hardware from my old builds, silly JDM bits from my old Subaru builds, Uniden Bearcat Off Road CB, Firestik 2 w/custom CF mount, custom KARTBOY plate frame with Rigid Ind Spot on ball head mount, Yakima Mega Warrior w/custom CF cross brace. ARP extended studs (not installed yet), Optima Red Top, Siless Insulation in cab. Diode Dynamics LEDs throughout... More titanium fasteners. K&N intake snorkus delete. Greddy hose clamps throughout. DBA 4000XS Brake Rotors. TRD PRO fogs. Dakine Tail Gate Pad. More to come of course.
Decided to tackle the wiring for the fog lamps. I wire tucked as much as I could and found a fun way to run the wires through the frame/body openings that is safe against getting cuts worn into the wire. I added rubber grommets to all of the openings. Even managed to grommet a double walled opening I could only access with my fingers. I am pleased with the result. Though, they don't work as I think I shorted the output on the Spod when I tested the passenger side. (The driver's side wires were stripped and had coiled up and touched the frame/body. I'll troublshoot this weekend.

In the last few months, hit a milestone on a road trip, added some topo accents to the interior, got it tuned, upsized the front brakes and rotors using ones for a 5th gen 4runner and had the exhaust reroute done.

I got them from 1221Laser but I don't remember them being that much. You may be able to find some cheaper ones out there.

Did you notice any difference in road feel with the bigger 4R rotors and calipers? (Harsher ride or no difference.) TIA

No difference in the ride quality. I did notice an improvement in stopping distance. Certainly gained back what I lost after adding e-rated 33s, steel bumper and winch.

These two threads were very helpful in deciding what direction I ended up going in. Even though the 1st one references a 2nd gen, I can confirm it also works on the 3rd gen platform.

So these just change the seat angle a bit which help alleviate back pain or makes it more comfortable etc?

    This and that
Dessert does it was and must still be my favorite “mod”. My calfs and thighs would ache no matter which way I adjusted that seat. I drive over a 1k to get the truck home and put the dessert does it in right away.

In theory, yes. While some people cannot believe they waited others take them off within 5 minutes because the new seat position is intolerable.

Muscles worn out from years of use, beat-up sciatica nerves, fluctuating levels of body mass (not shaming ... just stating objectively) ... all these and more make them saviors or torture devices.

Nothing quite like a couple pieces of cake or stack of ice cream sandwiches to prop up the seat.:rimshot:
