Morning everyone. We’re checking out the brownville food pantry YouTube page before I go out to plow. It’s pretty cool to watch these big ol deer eat!

True story, a mechanic in my shop got promoted to Supervisor after 25 years working there, his first assignment from the Manager is to sort out and organize the hardware/bolt bins.

Now you're talking my language. 3m is best IMO in half and full face respirator. If it's THAT dusty, you might want to think about a full face and being clean shaven. Filters are one time use, being one use per 8 hour shift. And it's 100% your employers responsibility to provide that to you.

Welp, the Manager in this case was an account of Finance Department, got separated from the job for not favor working for female Director and got picked up by Maintenance Director for his computer skills. I remember when hired, the Maintenance Director told him that ‘there is no particular job title for the position, just find anything you can do out there on the floor’.

I always go full face. Makes it harder to identify in a line up.
    :ballchain:
Agreed. 3M is way ahead. Love their ACM filters. Best there is.

Full face is the best, but are a handicap if you wear glasses.

I got done with driveway cleanup, did a little Sheetrock patch in the house, then took a little break. IMG_7253.jpg IMG_7254.jpg
Now they’re all taking a break I guess!

Half face and full face respirators are one of the many things my shop provides to workers at Kennedy Space center seeking certification to wear them. We provide training samples for users to try out during their fit check.
Those that require corrective lenses should not be at a disadvantage. Your employer should supply these as well, provided you have a documented need.

Calm and bright outside, air temp is only 22 but on the west facing forecourt of the garage it is nice enough to be in just a shirt.

I wanted to do something - but not work too hard  so I clay barred and waxed the hood of the van.

This thing wasn't abused really, more just not cared for, the paint is full of scratches.

I drive by this little shale pit sometimes, I think it is only used when a family member, etc needs a driveway.

I live in the heart of the Marcellus Shale formation that was in the news years ago.
You can see why planting a flower is a challenge at my place.

Just one of the little bits of artwork nature presents us if we take a moment to look for them.

Having lunch at TacoBell with my kiddos when this sweet ride pulls up. Dude was super nice and even unlocked his car for the kids to check out the inside.
