Absolute criminals. I’ve never had anything less than a bad experience at a dealership. I posted about it here a while ago but last year a Nissan dealership tech tried to pull one over on my elderly mom. They spilled oil on her engine cover while changing the oil and then told her that her motor was leaking oil.

They’re all scum bags in my opinion.

 

Thats absolutely ridiculous! I’d have called Better Business Bureau on that shit! That’s not a bad recommendation, that planning to steal money!

 

Yea, I got a tub of red hi-temp bearing grease… probably slap that on there.

 

Yeah I was furious. If they had actually gotten any money from her it would have been a different story but fortunately she knew not to trust them and called me first.

I took it to an independent mechanic for her and they confirmed it was just oil spilled on the engine cover.

 

I missed this earlier…Nice! That’s a steal!

Happy Sunday.

I had a similar attempt at fraud from the Hanover PA Toyota stealership. I had my Taco in there to get the frame inspection done. After they inspected it and wanted to set the appointment to get the whale jizz sprayed into the frame cavity, they showed the charge for replacing the rear output shaft seal on the t-case while they were doing the frame work. They told me that the back of the case was covered in oil from a leaking seal. I had just literally did an oil change and greased the zerks 3 days earlier, there wasn't a drop of oil anywhere. When I confronted them about their BS and asked to see it for myself, they told me that the tech had already taken the truck off of the lift. I just took the truck home and looked at it in the driveway, there was freshly squirted oil around the seal. I wiped it clean and drove the truck all week to work. When I looked under again, there wasn't a drop of oil leaking and the oil level was just fine.
