    Thanks!

Well, she's officially (unofficially, in case of more trimming) done!

Not perfect but, she's going to get banged up anyway right?

Just hope she performs well for me! Thinking I might go tomorrow to my hobby shop if they don't have comps on Sundays.

    Sheesh!

Oh real quick, someone on FB said to be really gentle prying off that plate on the servo. Otherwise you'll "spill all its guts out" or some shit.

It has a bit of grease on it that may keep the board from touching the backplate and shorting out.

    I suggest:
    unpinning the plug
Slip the rubber grommet off the wires
    Insert grommet into back plate
    Thread wires into grommet
    Attach backplate
Pin the wires into the plug
    reinstall

    Dog, camper.

went up 10 grams per wheel. It no longer lifts a leg going uphill backwards.

Same size dia, 5mm wider, no difference in grip on the plywood ramp.
The Injora's flex much better, but seems to make no difference on the incline.
I ended up removing the entire outer ring, as well as trimming the remaining webbing.

The outer diameter of the tires is the same, but the new ones have taller lugs, so the inner carcass is smaller. I do like the look better.

For those running things like the fusion se / fusion pro and other brushless systems that have the ability to maintain a static rpm based on throttle input.

Do you guys actually like it?

I have tried it a few times on my rigs that my fusion se has been in and I feel that it really detaches you from the load the rig is seeing which takes away from the driving experience and makes driving harder IMO because it's maintaining a constant rpm regardless of load.

Next question. Does anyone have any recommendations of 2s/3s lipo chargers that utilize USB input of some kind? I am looking for something I can connect to a USB battery pack (with proper output amps to support) and charge a crawler battery (sub 1k MAH) in my backpack while I run my second battery. There's those hella cheapie ones but output is LOW and we are looking at like 2+ hrs for a charge. if there's something around the 20-30$ range that fits that bill and provides a 1hr or less charge time that would be great.

No days off, Hawaii ain't cheap :bananadead:. I do side work on my "days off". Gotta fund the hobbies

I completely understand that. While there is slightly lesser driver input with these systems it still hasn't taken away how much fun I have getting these little things out on some obstacles

I got a venom quad pro. Being able to balance and storage charge multiple batteries at once is a requirement for me. I also have the gens Ace for my pit bag and it is nice and small.

I want an adaptor to charge my phone or a smaller lipo from a larger lipo. I know they are out there but they seem like Chinese boards that are assembled by a child

Idk if it's my charger or the batteries but it's unable to get it to a storage charge. It'll just bounce between reading 1 cell and then 2 cells and then it'll end up just discharging the battery. I just end up charging them to about 60% capacity and ending the charge. About 3.8v plus/minus per cell

I use a Gens Ace D300 dual. It does all the way up to 6s and will work.with all smart batteries other then those crappy spektrum batteries with the third wire in between the 2 wires.

Was it as "difficult" as some make it seem?

I can't imagine it being so I mean, there's some metal gears, wiring, and that's it?

Probably an issue for those not mechanically inclined.

I have had my accucell 6 for a long time, love the charger it hasn't skipped a beat. For the smaller crawler batts it would be nice to charge them both at once.

Finally got around to making this lil harness that makes my 2 3s crawler lipos become a single 6s so I can charge both of them (assuming similar charged state) at the same time. Makes it to where I can set n forget and get 2 charged batts vs getting one and forgetting to charge the second. Unfortunately I didn't have a 7 pin jst plug so I had to do a 3 and 4 pin and use two different balance ports on the charger side (they all connect the same 7 pins but gotta pay attention when plugging in the 4 pin with one bump cut off as it could be plugged in multiple spots and short stuff out)

Super simple process. Only "difficult" part is getting the rubber grommet into the new back plate
