I've changed up my truck a bit. No longer running the decked/camper shell. Also have Kenda 33x10.5's. I set my IMS's at stock height, so they need a slight adjustment to lift the front just a tad.

Also running Dobinsons on the trailer

I might have little over 300 bed weight with rci rock sliders and prinsu roof rack in addition. Would the 111 be ideal for this setup?

This is what I run on the daily for bed weight:

    Body armor 4x4 Rtt-108lbs

Aluminum max modulare 10in Bedrack with steel tonneau bracket-40lbs~

    Retraxpro mx tonneau cover-90lbs~

Rotopack, waterport, pelican air box with recovery, aluminum shovel.. not sure how much these weigh

full size spare is about 60lbs maybe

That's still not too much weight. If you wanted more lift, like 2.5" loaded, you can run the 111's, otherwise the 110's would still be suitable.

Slider weight doesn't count as rear weight, since it's balanced front to rear.

Gotcha, it will be closer to maybe 500 with overlanding gear in bed. Im hoping it will not sag too much. Would you say as long as im under 600lbs 110 will be strong enough to not sag too much?

Constant weight on the vehicle is what determines which springs to run, not when you're loaded up occasionally.

600lbs of constant weight moves up to the next spring.

Just got mine on and loving them. Got the heavy duty leafs and took one out for the med duty rate. I have a gfc style camper and supplies in mine and it rides great. Gave about 3 in of lift to the truck and doesn't drop much with all my camping gear loaded.

    sorry to hi-jack..

@Crikeymike , you're very knowledgeable when it comes to this and really appreciate if you can chime in for my setup and which Dobinson to run.. I have a 2021 tacoma short bed double cab with Bilstein 6112/5160 suspension, RCI full skid and 285/75R16 wheels tires setup. In the back I carry Decked system (most of the time almost empty), softopper cover, xtrusion bed rack (90lbs) and 90lb RTT by inspired overland.. I plan on removing the RTT when not in use.. this setup is pretty much my constant load, it only increase when camping/overlanding. Not anytime soon but maybe one day in the future add a high clearance rear bumper and swing out (again not anytime soon.. maybe yeaaaars from now lol). Thanks in advance

Hey bud, I suggest running the L59-111-R rear springs and take a leaf out of them if you find them too tall with the gear you carry. That AAL can be put back in later if you end up adding that bumper or more weight elsewhere.

Sorry to show up late to the party. I've got stage 1 deavers right now on my truck and they ride like crap with no weight in the back. Deaver says they go from 0-300 lb constant weight or something around there but they ride way too damn firm for me. For anyone with the L59-110-R's, how do they ride with minimal weight? Do they flex well? Thanks.

A shop installed L59-111-R on my Tacoma with a GFC on the back (~275 pounds). Was this the optimal version or would 110's have been better suited?

Those are ideal. You could pull a leaf out of them, but with the GFC on there, then when you load up for a trip, those springs as-is are probably still what you'll need or want to run

I'm looking at maybe getting a set of the L59-111-R for my 14 access cab. I have the Icon RTX pack (level 1) now and I'm still getting some takeoff shudder due to axle wrap. I have a custom double cardan, 2 piece driveshaft that uses the carrier bearing for an F250 and my angles are all good. I get zero vibes anywhere else. I actually put a go-pro under the truck to verify that its not something else. The shudder occurs right as the diff housing is at its apex. I know that I could add the extra Icon leaf to stiffen it up but I've tried that and it gives me way more lift than I want. The Dobinsons look a lot beefier at the front bushing end than the Icons so I was hoping someone could chime in on how these do with preventing/reducing axle wrap.

    thanks

@Crikeymike Have a 21 Pro With 100k miles so looking to swap suspension. looking for full 3” lift and spoke with two diff. Guys at Dobinsons. One told me to go with the 354 front coil with 1/2” preload on the IMS shocks and the other said to roll with the 318 no preload. I am also looking to do the 111 in the back with MRS so i can adjust the ride when empty or loaded.

Current set up Front: low pro bumper, Light bar, synthetic rope winch, Arb twin (approx total 185-200 with sliders partially included). Back: ARE topper, frontrunner rack, (Ikamper mini not always on). Daily drive rear weight approx. 200 lb w/empty bed.

Will the 111 get me the 3” to match the front and what is the best way to run the front set up?

354s with 1/2" preload will give the same lift as 318s with no preload, as the springs are the same spring rate just 1/2" height difference. Either way will work, but ideally you'd use the 318s with no preload.

If one option wasn't in stock, then you can go with the other

111s will only be about 2.5" with that weight. They would be ideal with the 3" front lift and only reducing the rake by about 1/2"
