Honestly it kinda teaches patience and care. Long hair definitely requires some care. Or, some just get lucky and just wash it and that's it. Definitely not how mine is :annoyed:

His is a battle, it gets really poofy if he doesn't manage it. Luckily my wife takes care of it with him, hers does the same thing. People will look at my wife and ask where Cole gets his red hair from o_O

We went in the Mast General store this weekend, they have water marks on the wall by the door from floods. Check out where it is from Helene, 2024. It was half way up the door and the highest one.

I know you have a pipe threader @RustyGreen

A friend of mine, his dad was a plumber and got killed a few years ago. I did some welding for him through the years and his son and I have been good friends as long as I can remember. His dad is who I got the 36" and 48" pipe wrenches from when he retired.

He sent me a message the other day and ask was I interested in buying this....

    upload_2025-2-3_9-11-29.jpg

I said possibly. He said okay, let me see if I can find the dies and figure out a price.

He then sends me a picture and ask if I wanted this, I could have it for free. I said absolutely!!

I have a hand threader. :ballchain:

The Rigid power threader is a wonderful luxury, I ran miles of pipe running a model 300 over the years.
With the threader off the tri stand is a sturdy muli function vise.
Those lazy Susan bolt bins sell for big money, excellent score!

I haven't used a pipe threader since the early 90's. We had a power one with the HVAC company I worked for. I just take it to the local hardware store and have them do it now.

If I can get it, I would love to run a good air line around my shop at home.

That is what I did, all :oldglory: 1/2" & 3/4" black iron, quite the workout with a hand threader.

Worth the effort though, no leaks, no moisture and convenient to use. I had a local hydraulic shop make me a short hose with 3/4" ends to isolate the compressor from the piping.

That air system will still be working fine long after I'm gone.

Well shop friends, ive been slowly working my way through the dune series by frank Herbert. Got the first 6 audio books from my library. They don't have the final 2 books in audio (the only way I've had time to do this is by listening at work) I'd found the last 2 on you tube but they got taken down before I could finish em. They're available lots of places I've looked... but not for free.. now I face the inevitable :spending:

That's what I get for trying to be cheap I guess haha

Congrats! The first book is a masterpiece of imagination. The depth and complexity will never be truly captured on film.

IIRC, they take quite some bizarre turns around the third or fourth book. Good for you for sticking it out

When you find yourself needing a little motivation on a Monday a nice little air fry steak does the trick.

My standard seasoning: sea salt, McCormick black pepper, garlic & oregano.

What are the titles of the last 2? I found a list but it says that there's 28 in the series!
