And I was also given a little insight as to why. The injury is not all that uncommon you fall instinctively try to catch yourself you break your wrist. The dr was telling me after surgery that Mikala’s bones are weak and we needed to take steps to address this. We weren’t surprised by this Mikala is a breast cancer survivor. Her cancer was hormone driven so after two surgeries and radiation they put her on a drug called tamoxifen for 10 years. This medication has a list a mile long of side effects one of which is reduced bone density. So now we follow up and see how we address that one. It’s the only way we know you come up against an obstacle you put your shoulder against it and push.

Wonder what has gone through his mind over the last 60 years, some of the musicians he has played with are the best of the best. The Band, Garth Hudson recently passed away , loved their music, The Big Pink wow. The Traveling Willburys

Keep in mind, there’s always that one in the group that’s ‘far out’. Says the poster of this comment…

The dr didn’t say that was against the rules! But after they stopped laughing they did say high heels and fireball shots probably weren’t a good idea

Maybe we should write an instruction manual on situations to avoid after turning 50. I’m sure we can all come up with something :anonymous:

Awesome! Dio was a big voice in a tiny body.

Since I'm only 56.... Never got to see them in person with all original members.
    Saw them minus Ward x2
    Saw them minus Ozzie x1
    Saw them minus Butler x1

This concert has a huge line up if ya look into it. 20 huge bands.

Good Morning all. Significant thunderstorms are predicted in my area, and in a few more days, a return of the Arctic Blast.... Stay warm, dry, and safe!

Been awhile guess looks like I never got back in here after hunting season last fall.

Got a card in the mail yesterday, thank you! Judging from postal stamp and the neat cursive hand writing I'm going with @ImpulseRed008 did the work, thank you Miss Susan! All is well now at least for the most part and cancer is in remission. Scan next month to verify but they couldn't see any new growth after the radiation. As mentioned radiation and chemo is hell on the body. Monday started off in the dentist chair and new cavities on a few roots I haven't had a cavity in decades and they said it is common after radiation. Bit of bone loss as well, as Marty mentioned above. ~40% in places. But beats the alternative. All good.

Youngest son is a mess after his chemo and cancer, but he is still in remission. Stroke and a bunch of other issues, he has been trying to get Social Security Disability since 2018. Yesterday they held his SS appeal and the lawyer said there is a 99.9% chance of him winning this time with back pay. Only $900 a month but I will sleep better knowing that when I die he will at least have a start to being taking care of. That is a big relief. All good, at least as it can be.

I could take a picture of me in my waxed canvas bird hunting chaps? I'll show you mine if you show me yours! Or maybe not

    Howdy Chief Mike,
I’m happy to hear that both you and your son’s cancer is in remission. I hope he wins his disability case. It’s a relief knowing that there’s some money coming in each month.

I was at my sister’s house this afternoon. We watched Monty Pythons and The Holy Grail. Wow, far out. They did some heavy drugs in the 70’s… Came home and finished the laundry before wifey arrives in a bit.
