    All right new plan

Five spare tires on five spare wheels in the bed of your truck and you just follow him.

Somehow I have recently acquired 16 wheels/tires. I can make this happen!

Marketplace is a black hole! Two sets of 35’s, set of 37’s and OG 34’s. 16’s, 17’s and 18’s. Silver, black, bronze and grey. It’s like jewelry for the truck. I can match my wheels to my outfit. I think I spent about $2k for all wheels/tires. The 37’s were the only used set at about 70%. Rest were brand new.

Also on the topic of a hitch spare I found this on marketplace for cheap

It's not a swing out but would work. Screenshot_20250205-053155.png

While I agree with you, I won't be doing any wheeling with it. Worst part will be the Dalton for 500 miles. I'll have plenty of ratchet straps with me as well so I can limp it home if needed.

Shimming the receiver and using one of those hitch tighteners (whatever they are called) removes almost all the bouncing.

Also having a rack thats properly sized makes a big difference. Ex: the rack-n-ride i have vs a crappy aluminum hf rack

I saw this one but since I'll be camping for 38 nights, I don't want to remove the spare every time I want to open the tailgate and the way my camping gear is set up, I need to open the gate to get in the fridge. I found a Wilco in Batesville, AR for $400 brand new in box. Might road trip down there to get it this weekend.

Yeah. Then sell it when I get back for a few hunsky's. Might be a better market for it in KC than podunk Batesville.
