lots to finish on too many projects lol...
I wonder if the middle section of the manifold can be removed and a simple spacer added, I'll measure and give a try!

Probably a G30-900 for the MR2 shooting for 550-600 wheel -> I still have not decided what to do for a transmission if anything different than my current E153.

for the double cab, I'm eying up a TVS1900 kit, the lotus pulley bracket and the Magnussen turd gen assembly miiight just be able to be modified to fit, and with a 74mm pulley, a similar combo makes around 450wheel in the lotus application.

I got stuck this morning pulling into work lol, had to stop for a pole and lost all my momentum. I didn’t think snow tires were worth it for the amount of snow we’ve got so far, so I guess I’ll just have to deal with it.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
It's been a really light snow year. But if you're going to rock something two-wheel drive even if it is front wheel you should probably have some snow tires. Not everything gets equal attention from the plow out that way

LED question: i want to interrupt the grill led's when the the respective turn signal is flashing. All lights are led (grill and turns). what wires (+ to +?, - to +?) would i patch into to make that happen?

Just talking out my ass as I am by no means an expert, but heres what I got

I'm picturing the LEDs wired to the DRL circuit with a relay to interrupt, that relay is normally allowing current flow, until it receives signal from the stalk.
Not sure how our stalks are wired for sending the signal to the flasher relay, but you'd have to get to it between the stalk and flasher relay.
So you'd take that, which is hopefully a constant 12v when the stalk is on, send it to that new relay interrupting the DRL to turn off that circuit. You'd then also send that stalk signal into another relay which is tied into the turn signal flasher circuit. So then when it receives signal from the stalk, it allows current to flow from the flasher circuit.
One relay would be an NO, one an NC.

So like 4 relays to get both sides going? Definitely could have something wrong in there too. Middle LED can remain just hardwired to the DRL circuit.

Sounds like a lot of work to me

Theres probably a type of relay that switches input based on a signal, so that you could just use one relay? Then you could wire the flasher signal, and the DRL signal into one relay. Wired to be normally DRL, except when it receives stalk signal and it switches to the flasher circuit. I'm sure that exists?

Do the runners give it more low end torque though? It seems more designed for lugging along a trail.

ok, hear me out, I think if I use a normally closed relay (1 for each side), and wire it like this, it should work. that would open the relay, turning it off, when the + from signal triggers it. yes?

    Interesting idea, lot simpler
Wouldn't that put the grill LEDs out of phase with the other turn signal bulbs? The LEDs would turn off when the rest turn on?

Then I would think that should work as you drew it. Not sure how that would look aesthetically with them flashing exactly opposite the other signal bulbs though
