'16 w/ the 3.0 its an S, my neighbor had a turbo and traded it in so i gave him a lot of my stock parts and got almost all of his stuff from the catback to the air boxes. Only issue i had was the transfer case went out but they had extended the warranty to unlimited miles and like 8 years or something so that was painless. I love the simplicity of working on it. I'm looking for a higher mileage 996 for a project car unless somehow a mid 80's targa finds its way into my hands

Good luck finding a solid G body lol, took me a lot of searching to find mine. 996s are amazing cars, I got to drive my friends 996 C2S 6 speed one time, what a wonderful car. For 30-40k I can’t think of a better drivers car besides an E9X M3.

Made it to Windrock Offroad Park, was a blast. First time in the snow, had some crazy down hill ice slides. I bounced off a buddies GX sliding down a hill sideways. Pic below you can see the boulder that caught my driver LCA and stopped me from going down further. Thankfully no one was hurt and no body damage. My tires hit his sliders.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
We were there last May from VA and had a blast. We're building a house about 90 minutes from there, so I hope to get back there this summer.

Roaming central NV; Underwhelming year for snow in these parts.

The sight of someone’s chonies dangling from this post, alongside the warning, made for a good laugh.

Spent the day down in Palo Duro Canyon at MERUS. Cold and windy but always worth it.

I heard there is a popular bike ride in HI ... they get you to the top, wearing layers because of the cold, then 3 or 4 ft lower when the ride ends you have removed most of those layers.

Maybe it is in Japan, then ... Mt. Fuji. I just remember they said it was worth it for the easy downhill cruise.
