The real question is what is the controllers output scale.

    0-60Hz
    0-100%
    0-1800rpm

Now you're talking over my head. I'm just an idiot that knows a tiny little bit about numerous things. Enough to be dangerous at all of them but not good at any of them.

At the way back job I was on a service call with our electronic tech. We had a VF drive that wasn't working and had gone through all the resets etc.

Well, for lack of something better to do I reached out and gave the thing a good healthy smack.
    Drive >> :smack: << Rusty

With a completely straight face the tech turns to me and says "that usually isn't the best troubleshooting method for electronic devices".

It didn't work - we ended up changing the drive. :redxfall:

Whaaat! That guy must have never been in the military. My son who works IT for the Air Force took one of my hammers and labeled it a hard reset tool. He says it works every time…when asked ”What was wrong with it?” He said his response is always the same “With that ? Oh the drive needed to be replaced!”

Good morning friends! Hope you all have a wonderful Thursday :hattip:

Today's the day, I start my pipe threading business. Going to pick up the threader after work. Tell your friends, or don't. Either way is fine. The threader will be sitting in the corner if you ever need it :anonymous:

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem :D

The human Punxsutawney Phils were saying we were going to get 1" of snow. When i got home from work, I had 2" over my entire driveway. Woke up this morning and the street is incredibly shiny so 1) the plow went by and left me a present and 2) the roads are going to be horrible driving to work today. It was bad enough driving home from Costco last night.

And for the record, I had another 1.5" in the driveway this morning and a 20 foot section of my sidewalk had 10" of snow.

I carried that engine back yesterday and got to talking to the guy, he had welding wire on a shelf. I said I didn't know you sold wire, he said he buys it in bulk to replace in machines with rusty wire after putting new liners in them. I said how much for a roll? He said $35 for 33 lbs :eek::eek:

I just bought a roll in December at the welding supply place, it was 44lb and over $100 :frusty:
