For a lot, lot less money I'd wheel it. I like the color and having a true project truck would be fun. Mine's boring, it doesn't need any work and it's too nice to do silly mods to.

Yea, the ecu from 1995.5 to somewhere in 1997 can’t handle the supercharger

Yes a lot less, like maybe $2,000. It would be nice to have a truck that you wouldn't mind cutting up.

Looooong boi. Are you planning on adding a 3rd mounting point on each side to give a bit more rigidity for the long span between the other two mounting points?

Just needs a 4x4 conversion and it would be a pretty rad piece. Just a bit wide and heavy for some places, but still cool nonetheless. As much as my van feels big, I can't imagine how much more so that is.

Yeah, just had the 2 on each side to figure out how out of whack the actual truck frame was, more easy to get it sitting right with less points of contact. The stock bed is easy to pull into shape but I wasn't so sure about this one until we could figure out if the stock points had shifted a bit. Looks like the driver side frame rail is about 1/8" different compared to the passenger side. So all in all not bad really.

I figured you would. May think about gusseting the front bed mounts too. I'm wishing i did for piece of mind. Its just such a tall mount. Granted its gusseted essentially towards the outside of the truck. But tying it into the frame towards the inside may be a good thing. I'm keeping an eye on mine to make sure it doesn't start tearing away from the frame with Toyotas awesome factory welds...

Yeah my truck was absolutely welded on a Friday too, should see some of the factory welds haha, look behind the middle bed mount... that's all factory weld

I was thinking a couple gussets along the flange of the frame for the forward mounts and maybe a tube to tie the two together laterally too since I don't think I can gusset that any other way.

Think it's like 10.5k, his rear axle alone weighs something around 6k of it

    Absolute boogers haha.

I think that'd be ideal. I thought about tying the two together as well but wouldn't clear the gas tank since i built my flatbed so low profile. Buuuut now thinking, is used some 1/2" UHMW Poly to raise the bed a bit so now I may be able to squeeze something in there. May be pulling the bed again now...hahaha.

Many times. I'm right at 10k. 4k on the front axle and 6k on the rear axle. So it's a PIG but since I had the muffler taken off last week I've been enjoying the placebo effect of it feeling powerful lol

It was but I shaved off 500 after the divorce.

I mean cabinets, full fiberglass roof, bumpers, 50gal of diesel, 20gal of water, fridge, carpet, couch, it adds up.

Thats a hooog haha. Just throw a PHP Hydra on it to bump the power and efficiency up a bit (Non-placebo lol). Pick from the free tunes from the HydraFalsh Software. You definitely wont regret it.
