They add to the slop and clunky acting drivetrain.

Which sucks because I like the added clearance they provided.

The clearance is huge indoors. Looks like portals are available for the SCX24s... hmm...

Was going to buy a Mojave Grom BLX next but might come down to which is on sale when I'm ready to buy

    No, it's actually pretty quiet.
I did set my own pinion mesh, it was tight from the factory and I also lightly grease the transmission gears and oiled the bearings. Did not grease the spur and pinion.
    That made it super quiet.
Servo whines like a little bitch though.

I'll try adding a dab of grease and oiling the bearings. Shits not happy lol. Already tried messing with the gear mesh but I'll tear it down again

The main reason many of my trucks have vanquish axles is because the teardown on nylon and plastic can strip out screw holes. Make sure you are finding the start each time with reverse turns til it falls into the groove.

I wonder how thin you can print a body and be able to still sand it down without breaking too easily. I got the library print a brace for a wpl kei truck and their settings were tuned. It looks great.

Yeah I was going to say, 3D prints are looking significantly different from one member to another.

I figure some of y'all just don't sand them down at all?

Well the stock motor didn't last long and this one is dead until I order a motor/esc combo. Debated Injora purple as a possibility for the time being.

Curious to see what you all have to report on the komodo et al

    Fast and slow.

So NSDRC speculates that I killed my own servo with the rear plate install and that they void your warranty if you damage such an install.

I asked what is the cause for these failures (the most common) during a rear plate install so now I wait to hear back.

I'll accept if I messed up the install, but it was literally too simple of a job to screw up. My only thought is that it has something to do with me pushing the rear plate back on.

After removing the rear exit to reinstall the side exit, that's when I examined the solder joints and cables and they're still intact so I can't imagine what it could be.
