    That sucks. I didn't think the install was much of a thing either.

    It really isn't and I'd be happy to create a video of the process just to show how easy it is. But they already have one out and the actual guy struggled more with the grommet than I did.

    I can only speculate that pushing the rear cover back on to bolt it in place is when something got damaged (if at all). I say this because it's the only time force is used at all on this thing.

    I have to go drop off a customer order at UPS, and part of me says drop off the servo too or completely disassemble it.

    It's packaged and ready to go with a label on it.

    @odomandr

    I'll still ship it since it seems like they want to fix it, but here are the two main causes -

    I have only run them on snow and ice so far (I'm in AK for work) and they have been fantastic. They are much firmer and stickier than the Dboots... also a slightly larger diameter... which led to some rubbing. Just on the one side in the rear... could also be from ice build up.

    Yep

    I only hesitated as mentioned above because if I did indeed mess it up, I was gonna chalk it up to it being my fault and accepting a voided warranty that's all

    I'll never shy away from taking responsibility, but it's just mind boggling because of how simple it was to install the plate

    Just waiting for the wife to get home so I can head out of town to UPS for drop-off (if she doesn't have a meeting today)

    @Strictlytoyz you know one of us here is gonna ask, with the two new chassis you bought, what axles do you intend to run?

    I learned about the X15 recently from Mofo RC but I hear they're meant for "a different build style than the Super 8's" whatever that means.

    All I know is the shock mounting is close to stock as far as width goes on the X15.

    The komoda is pretty awesome, it moves so slow you cant even tell it's moving.

    Mag mount bodies are way cool, love being able to remove and replace like it's nothing.
    Not sure about the lights. It needs a little something up front.

    It's a printed mount that clips in.

    @Deathbysnusnu

    Someone on an RC group ordered the Furitek Mini with transmission for their SCX24

    They received the FCX24 variant

    You said you ordered the wrong one but what if you did order the right one and had the wrong one sent to you like he did?

    Look at the cover and look at the motor mount.

    Pic on box/hardware shows FCX, label says SCX. Weird.
    Like I noticed with mine, the transmission mounts the same, the motor mount clocks the motor off center or centered.
    I don't know. I had to research to figure out that it was just the mount that changed, that's how I remedied my fuckup.
    That looks to be the stock transmission?

    From the Furitec site. It shows that same configuration, with SCX labeling.
