Rain, ice, more rain this am... predicted to melt the ice. We'll see, if/when there's enough daylight. Little bit of everything this winter so far. Wife up early this am, coughing... never good. Appt. with lung doctor pending... hope it's not today, wouldn't even try it. Remembering doctor house calls, back in the day. There's just no way to deal with wet ice. Have to hole up, wait it out. Thankful to be here complaining. Prayers go out to those in need.

Same here but 26° rather than 20°F doesn’t feel as cold!

Dog was a handful yesterday after two perfect days. She had a couple stressful events so puppy setbacks. A little to reactive to the cats

Good morning all. Sleet and freezing rain overnight and continuing this morning. It actually woke me early this morning. Shut my alarm off and figured I'll get to work when I get to work. Not risking my life and my vehicle to be there at a specific time. Company president is never on time so why am I worrying about it? Made it in only 30 minutes past my regular start time. Only about 1/4 of our staff here so far. Several areas worked late yesterday so they could come in late this morning. Thankful somebody started coffee. :pccoffee:

While last night might well have been a Three Dog Night what with the freezing rain and all, today is starting off as a Two Loaf Day. :)

    Evening Sue!

:annoyed:, I often shine a red light out back to see if any critters are there. There was something there tonight that may have been a coyote, or two of them, it is foggy and I saw something with red eyes that took off at full speed off to my right, then saw red eyes at the edge of the woods line straight away from me that quickly disappeared, couldn't tell for sure what it/they were due to it being foggy, pretty sure it wasn't deer, they will usually just stand there and look at me, the red light doesn't spook them.
I don't see or hear coyotes here like I did a while back, but a week or two ago I heard them yipping up in the woods behind the house, that's what makes me think it was probably coyotes that I saw tonight.

Evening Carl, good thing you scared him / them off. Hope they don't come back.

Yawn.. still half asleep, but glad to be here. We're off to town today sometime, to pick up a grocery order. May go early, ahead of any weather. Then, maybe a nice fireplace nap. Not much else pending today. New dishwasher scheduled, not sure when exactly. Old one decided to work again, for now. Hope it stays that way 'til the new one appears.
