Weight plates for myself and several people at the local gym, vests with 2 plates weigh about 20lb, with 4, 35lb.

Crazy that a whole sheet costs about what a single set of plates cost. Made about 36 plates.... Well 35 and the first one to check the fit.

No "not armor" sticker but I did tell everyone very sternly that while it might stop a 9mm, it WILL NOT stop any real rifle round.20250207_085344.jpg

My IT department just announced that they're changing Outlook to default to 25/55 minute meetings instead of 30/60 minute meetings. That'll fix everyone's time management skills, I'm sure.

Yeeeeah, Stephanie always buys me 2-3 boxes of them when the girl scouts start selling.

I got 3 this time

What I've been craving are those chocolates they sell with gooey peanut butter. Those are sold at a different time or for certain events only she told me.

Brother I bought a new versa with a manual transmission last November, gotta say it does scratch the manual itch

$300 monthly payment, 30 mpg minimum, it's hard to beat plus you don't use any brain space thinking about modifying or mantaining it

Are those all hand tools? Now I know next to nothing about Amish but I always thought they were against power tools and stuff like that

They're against but not afraid, I don't think they're prohibited from owning it either as long as they don't use it. So they might have it on hand for somebody they've hired

I think compressed air powered tools are ok.

Woke up this AM to 2" of water filling up the driver's side floor mat of the 4runner :violent: luckily they're all weather mats I could just dump out.

What's weird is that it used to be the passenger side that would get a little wet when it rained but never this much water

Oof, throw it in the garage and drive the truck!

That would have me outside with the garden hose spraying a bunch of water trying to catch a leak in real-time. Sucks you've got that going on but I bet it's something stupid like a pinched seal.

I need to order that Honda grease @CS_AR suggested. Works great for that stuff.

Yeahhh we are supposed to get hit with a big thunderstorm next week so it will definitely be going into the garage for that one. The weather seal along the bottom of the door is in pretty rough shape, but I can't imagine that much is getting in through there. It must be getting in from the upper hood area and then traveling to one side or the other depending on which way the truck is leaning.

It's funny, I took that awful roof rack off the Tacoma 4ish years ago and plugged all 8 of the half inch holes with RTV and riv-nuts, I totally expected those to leak at some point and 4 years later they're still going strong, no leaks at all (yet)
