    Good morning, gang.

It's getting windy and cold. Freezing rain/ice possible tonight. It looking like 3-4 winter storms next week.

I had a good laugh at the spiders/bugs stuff yesterday, here's all that I have to add

    Good morning all.

We had some freak weather roll through last night. Very heavy winds, but no damage to the house, and I didn't notice any obvious down trees when I went to Wally World this morning.

Like I said in that thread, I'm just a noob and learning a lot still. I don't have much experience to go off of, but from what I've been reading, Bambu Labs seems to be the hot unit these days. Easy setup and easy to use/learn. Prusa seems to have a good reputation, but I haven't seen near as much on their hardware/software.

I was gifted a Creality Ender 5 Pro by another member, I just needed to replace some parts after a major meltdown. It's been a learning experience to say the least. I've found some helpful information here: https://3dinsider.com/ and here: https://all3dp.com/basics/.

I'm finding 3D printing fascinating as much as frustrating. It has been a good thing for retirement. Good luck in your search. Sorry I am not more help, and sometimes that other thread is more about patting yourself on the back than helping those that reach out.

I had a Prusa at one point, it's been gone for years. It was fine for PLA prints, I needed to do ABS or Nylon w/ PLA as a support material.

I'm now eyeing up the Anycube resin printers for some model railroad projects.

I'm not sure which is more impressive- 19 mpg or that it's in the 70's where you're at!

and back from my folks. snow was up over the center of the tires on chebby in the alley where i leave my camper. 4 wheel drive he just dug in and cruised along.
and because i'm a good kid i stayed and helped my dad clear their driveway. me on the shovel, him on the snowblower.
stopped and got some groceries and now i'm home for the weekend. roads are turning to crap and i dont want to be out there with the moron drivers

this is definitely the worst storm we've had all winter. going to take a bit for the plow drivers to clean this up.
