Does anyone have photos or other information from their Howe PS pump installation?

The JD Fab instructions are fucking dogshit and don't account for the majority of their hardware, bracket, etc.

Thanks for the offer! I think the main issue was the pump housing wasn’t drilled, so I couldn’t get the pump to bolt up.

They also don’t have anything saying which hoses go where, but I’m sure I can find a guide somewhere.

Ordered after a mishap at koh. It’s been. Long time since the front end got real love and things are showing signs of fatigue and stress. New spindles and lcas should give the front a new lease on life for a while

Also gonna be rebuilding the steering clevis for the slide rack out of some 1/4” since they are not surviving my abuse as is apparently.

25lbs a side maybe? They are super light.

I already have Greenlane Aluminum sliders on the truck, but would require a lot of modifications to work with the frame brace kit. Easier to sell those and buy these.

Post several pics when you get them installed. All they have on their website is CAD drawings. I'm interested to see how they are bolted to the frame as well as the cab.

They just redesigned these actually so the drawings on the site aren’t 100% correct any longer. Will be a few weeks by the time I get them coated.

I can't leave anything well enough alone
If I had aluminum, I'd be tempted to leave raw after doing an even scotch brite polish on them, let it do that oxidiation layer all over like for marine applications. Then, no worry about the chips on the underside, scratches, or any of the problems associated with coatings. Simply sand and scotch brite for any gouges. That is what I did for a roof rack over my camper shell, and some other aluminum projects, I like it. Plus, you will be able to spot cracks and damage sooner, not hidden by thick paint. Only good reason to coat is to protect from rust IMO. But I am in the southwest, and still haven't painted my steel bumpers yet, LOL.

Are you coating just for the aesthetic of not looking like aluminum?

Another +1 for raw. I have multiple aluminum filler panels on the back of y truck raw, and before I sold it, the bed to my off road trailer was a sheet of bare aluminum. So nice to have it maintenance free and still look good without touchups.

Also, it just looks plain good

Just like all my armor to match. Truck is all black and white so throwing on shiny aluminum will clash. I get why people would want to keep it raw but not for me.

Picking up a Howe TC pump from JDfab tomorrow. For those that have installed it have you ran into problems with anything extra you needed or any tips for a 3rd Gen Tacoma?
