Rowing that boat...money would have been better spent at $120...but I did go 50:50 shares/calls

I held some calls through the sub 120 dip. It should’ve also been like “oh I’m not selling cus I’m confident, I should add more on this dip”

 

Anyone have an elegant solution for populating a lot of rows on an 8949?

 

I use HR block and it imports all the trades straight from my brokerage account...
The ONLY PITA is it makes you verify each has imported correctly and the only way to do that is to click on the imported description and change something...But it's still A LOT faster

yeah I do that sometimes. I only get like a 1-2 dollar premium tho

a taxes CPA mom that I see at “story time” says I can sorta copy paste that terrible DESC crap in column a. If’n I can distill the form or grab a digital version that I can fiddle with. I’m pretty DIY for fun strangely….
