Man if it makes you feel better, Flu A down here has been pretty mild. Flu B is the one that’s rocking peoples world.

we currently have a few clients positive for the flu so it’s making its second wave comeback for the season

I have a Ring solar panel on my ring doorbell, has been working fine for years. However, the same type solar panel at camp for my Ring camera doesn't work worth shit!!! Seems the connection to the panel or possibly the camera doesn't stay tight???

I'd imagine the thread usually slows down when hunting season is ending. Don't think anyone caught a time-out over any of that, and if anyone did, it all points to one source.

Unfortunately, I didn't have any opportunities for an archery hunt this season. Life threw a lot of curveballs around the beginning of season and it was well into rifle season when I finally did go and harvest a couple does for the freezer. Hopefully next year treats me better.

Edited to add: and is exactly why this whole buck shaming/"shoot a doe" BS does get taken personally, and aggressively gets called out. We don't all hunt deer sanctuaries, golf courses, or get to go every weekend. You can guarantee I would've shot the absolute shit out of a button buck if given the chance at one archery hunt this season, and dared someone to say something about it.

Not saying this is the case, but are you regularly cleaning that camp panel? Just a little haze from rain, pollen, etc can really drop the efficiency of the panel

My 2024 season was cut short also. I missed the last weeks of archery and all of rifle season due to intestinal cancer surgery. Knowing this was coming and that my hunting was going to be cut short and also not knowing how my surgery would go I shot a buck that I normally wouldn’t have shot at that point of the season. After the shot I still had all the same body shaking and excitement. I was proud as ever driving to show dad with him in the back of my Tacoma. So you never know other peoples stories or why they shoot the bucks they shoot. I always first take my buck to show dad and then second post a picture on TW. The normal crew on this thread are always very kind and supportive and I hope it stays that way.

Nothing today, just a camera and some climbing sticks. I DID NOT remove either of them. Yet.
