Plasti-dipped my badges this morning! Turned out great.... shouldn't be any issues as long as you follow the tips on the DIY here. Should be a couple pics attached to this... thanks again for the write-up guys.

...And also cheap! I Plastidipped my rear bumper, grill, and front emblem today and after $14 and about 2hrs of work, I'm extremely satisfied! :D

I apologize ahead of time for the poor pic quality, I was too lazy to grab the 12mp camera so these are just from my cell phone.

Let me know what you guys think and I may end up doing the wheels too...

Thanks! and all I used was Windex and a towel  Honestly you dont really need to tape it off like i did since the plastidip is removeable, but i didnt want to peel it off the plastic and all.

It doesnt require primer. I just cleaned up the bumper and grill then sprayed it on.

nice video but still don't have any results. I'm not so much worried about looks, trying to find a way to keep the plasti dip from peeling

Wow that guy SUCKS at painting. Anyways I've had mine on since Dec. of last year and it hasn't peeled not one bit. It's been through rain, sleet, ice, freezing snow, and long and hot Texas days and it hasn't chipped, flaked, or peeled. The key to keep it from peeling is preparation.

I wanted them a little different than the traditional all black, and since I'm using plastidip I can play around with it.
    Thoughts???
    did the badges too...
These are how they first came out after removing the tape for those that are interested. Obviously not perfectly smooth lines around the weights especially.
