My temp sensor wire isn't hooked up. It's the one that is for the dash. Guessing the one for the computer could have an effect on fueling though.

One day... I'll have a project car. Technically my truck is my project car I guess since I have a daily and the truck needs work ha. Love having three cars and the ability to have one go down and not be sol for a minute. That and they're all pretty easy to work on.

 

No doubt that will happen. Parked off behind the rocks trail, tucked out of the wind. Faced a brutal wind here, moab was recording 23mph with gusts to 30+ but this spot was well sheltered and only a minor breeze. Saw dust storms in the distance. Winds drop, but so do temps tomorrow as we start the white rim.

 

Yeah this was the one up front, sender for the gauge is on the back. Person I got it from cut the cats out before letting it go and severed the O2 sensors in the process. It's funny that makes no difference in it being able to run, but a water temp sensor causes it to shut down.

Rear o2s won't effect how it runs. They just monitor the catalyst. Front o2s would change things. On the 3rz the front sensor is the one for the dash would assume it'd be the same on the 3.4 but maybe it's not.

 

Front sensor on a 3.4 is for the computer The one all the way in the back by the firewall is for the gauge

I'm kind of neutral towards them. I think the new ones aremt as serviceable. But not sure what other options are out there.

If you're not wanting a uniball joint could look at icon delta joints. They can go into any uniball uca.

Jba is also a thing for some folks.

Good. The trail has changed a bit, a couple VERY narrow spots for a full size but otherwise the trail is as amazing as it has ever been. Didn't realize it was super owl Sunday this weekend but dang we have the whole place to ours lives because of it, it's incredible. Slightly cold. Worth it.

Late to the party but the SPC today are different than those of yester-year. It is why i asked what i did as they have changed things, the arms are cast and not tubular anymore. They have held up and always been friendly to alignments. The UBJ lasted me 60k miles and is still going. Sadly i cant comment on the new BJ design and will find out soon enough. The sealed UBJ seems like the way to go if you see mud enough.

 

Was mostly curious on the sealed BJ. It would be an upgrade to the Mrs. Vehicle and I don't want to have to keep up with what's going on since I dont drive it too often
