We are scheduled to get mail-order ducks today. Expensive little bas**rds but they are fun animals to have around and they lay eggs. They will also be good at Thanksgiving. Two days in the mail... so hoping they are okay.

Yup, got the ducks. All doing well having had lots of water and starting to eat. I ordered six, one male and five females, and there were seven in the box. Only one was banded so I think the extra would be a female.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I had an appointment on Tue. with PT (I think that stands for Physical Torturist), my 2nd appointment. I've had back problems for years (mid-back injuries in my teens/twenties) that have gotten better since retirement, but wanted to see if there was more that could be done. The first appointment ended with her giving me 4 stretching exercises for me to do daily. They did help some, I'm starting to see a bit more flexibility without pain.

Tuesday, she observed the flexibility and checked for weaknesses in shoulder and arms. She also checked back muscles, noting some still very tight areas. Then, she asked if I was game to try something, which I agreed to. The next thing I know, I'm face down on an exam table with 2 needles in my back...and what may have been an electric fencer attached to them. Interesting, and somewhat uncomfortable. I was really sore/stiff Tue. night, but yesterday wasn't bad as long as I was moving. The stretching exercises went better last evening and this morning I feel as good as I have in a long time.

She will get 2 thumbs up next time I see her. She also got my electric fencer reference, and chuckled.

Really good Friday morning... raining here in San Diego County, but my weight measure was at the lowest yet since as long as I can remember... 190 lbs. (down from an average of 225 and at high of 235.). Slow but sure...

    Afternoon all:

Acupuncture Rich?, some people say that it does help.

Any weight loss is good David, keep at it!

Ducks are neat to have around Travlr, enjoy!!

    :annoyed:anyone use 18650 batteries?
I need them for the gun light, there are flat top, recessed top, and button top, I need the button top. Then there are multiple mAh versions, and protected and non protected versions. I would like the protected ones, but they are slightly bigger in diameter and also longer and may not fit the light, and all the good top brand 3-3500mAh non protected ones that I could use are pretty well out of stock online. NO ONE locally sells the button top, lots of flat tops available for vapes, time to get the dial caliper out, I'll figure it out!!!
    NOTHINGS EASY!

Evening gentlemen! Went to drop a couple of items off at the UPS store, returns for Amazon, and my phone would not open the codes for them to scan :annoyed:. My town really sucks for cell signal . Even here at the house I'm lucky to have one 4G bar.

Taking wife to see a lung doctor. She's had a cough for too long. Our family doc treats the cough, and it helps a little at the time, but doesn't fix it. A prescribed inhaler works for a while. She has inhalers stationed throughout the house, glovebox, purse, etc. We're grateful to have anything that helps.
