IMG_9165.jpg Love these tires. They look great and ride smooth. This size is the best and the aggressive sidewall eats up some of the added size so they don’t look like donuts.

I just ordered a set from Discount Tire and scheduled for install tomorrow morning. Looking forward to seeing how these do in the rain.

Got them installed (265/75/16) and driving around town the last hour—surface streets and highways—these are noticeably quieter and stop better. Initially pretty happy.

It's been a couple of days and I've put over 200 miles on these tires. Coming from the stock Goodyear Wranglers these are a night and day difference in noise and especially ride quality. Both of my kids and my wife have commented (without prompting) that the truck rode smoother around town. Even though the Goodyears were also SL load I don't think they did a good job with my Decked system and UpTop rack. In fact, the ride has improved so much that I no longer feel like a suspension upgrade is a critical next step, but we'll see how well they do with more weight this weekend as I have several sheets of plywood and lumber to pick up for a project. The only negative has been a 2-3 MPG hit in fuel efficiency, but I haven't done the "chalk test" yet and I'm running a higher PSI at the moment (36–37, I ran the Wranglers at 30–32) and will air down next week to get a good comparison.

Mostly stock, just getting it to my liking, just happy to have had the taco and now my 4Runner.
    How’d they compare to previous?

So, the tires that came with my 4Runner were some Uniroyal HTs and the full time four-wheel drive must be fairly decent because they didn't feel horrible. That being said, the Coopers definitely are better. The braking and acceleration on slippery surfaces is pretty damn good for an all terrain. The lateral grip is sufficient but not outstanding. They also seem to ride decent and are fairly quiet.

That’s great to hear. Sadly we still haven’t had any snow that was more than a flurry and it didn’t stick. So no report here.

I hope these hold up better than my AT3 4s did. They seem like best mild AT tire but still not sure if the SL is good idea for skids/slider heavy rig.

Update time, we finally got our low temps and snow here in TN.

We have hit the teens and have gotten 6+ inches so far with some mixed slush from them putting brine on the road and ice patches.

And other than the increased noise from the tires on the snow, they continue to impress, no slippage even when I tried to make them break traction, that may be the limiteds awd system at its best fighting my attempts, but climbing a hill that had 6 full size 4x4 off in the ditch last year in this same weather I never even broke stride.

At this time this may be my new favorite tire for an all around do it all. Time will tell on longevity since they are still so new, and since I do not off-road other than light yard and gravel roads/dirt roads I am not concerned with damaged sidewalls as anothermember was noting from off road rock punctures. YMMV.

Everyone stay safe and warm unless you are in CA, in that case stay safe and away from the fires, seek shelter and sound off to let someone know you are safe and accounted for.

I had my 112T 265-70-16 installed in my 2023 Tacoma SR5 DCLB about two weeks ago. We have had snowy conditions for most of it and they have performed great. I did do one highway trip, around 250 miles round trip. The tires grip the highway very well. On/off ramp manners are great, seems to have a very stiff sidewall. No more road noise than the factory Firestones they replaced.

I am about to pull the trigger on these as well on stock suspension. So 265/75/16 works just fine with these on stock 4x4 OR?

Yes. I had 265/70/17 on stock suspension before I leveled the front. No rubbing.

Yup, no problem with the stock suspension and OEM wheels, and the initial drop in gas milage I saw seems to have been temporary as I'm back to the same range as I had with the Wranglers. So far I'm very happy with these tires.

I had a set put on three weeks ago here is what I think:
Dry / normal road driving these are quiet compared to the AT3, they handle very well.

Light snow, way better than my wore out AT3's but that is to be expected.

Wet /rain, again way better than wore out AT3's

While not as aggressive looking compared to the AT3 I feel it is a way better tire for my needs.

Just swapped out my st/maxx for road +trails (same size 265/75R16). Not many miles at this point but they are definitely quieter and smoother.

I was hoping to see a photo with the RWL showing. Wondering how they would look on my OR with color matched steelies. Current tires are DuraTracs. Friggin noisy as he**. Long road trip coming up and am considering swapping out even though current tires have lots of tread left, albeit going on 5 years old. Tires listed at @Discount Tire for 265/75 R16 are 116T SL. Don't know if the increase from 112T would make much difference in ride quality.
