    Chicken. They just roll them and fry them and top with the typical vinegar slaw, cheese, etc. think of it as similar to pupusa presentation. To me it was the perfect cross up for today.

    Over at a friend's yesterday, they had just bought a big chunk of frozen tuna and asked if I'd like to cook it for them. My proposal;

    Seared tuna steaks, white beans, ratatouille with blood orange segments and sauce. One person doesn't eat fish so I'll sub pork tenderloin medallions stuffed with spinach, feta and pine nuts.

    Maybe individual apple pie tarts for desert.

    See how it goes and if I can get pictures.

    Been a while since I made it, decided to make it for the game tomorrow. Dog food dip. One of the ladies used to make it for us techs at the dealership. I was always scared off because of the name. Everyone raved about it, and my buddy made me try it. Ended up finding the recipe online to make because it’s so good. Key is leaving it chill and refrigerate overnight to let all the flavors blend and set.

    Thanks for the heads up; I generally steer clear of anything raspberry... I currently can't think of an edible berry I like less than raspberries

    Quite possibly my favourite berry fresh from the bush. Childhood memories of getting up very early to beat my siblings to the garden to pick fresh raspberries to have for breakfast.

    Wild strawberries are right up there as well, tiny little flavour bombs of strawberry.

    A treat of working in the bush here in BC is wild berries, strawberries, raspberries, salmon berries and huckleberries.

    I’m quite the fan of Gooseberries… not just for the ridiculous name. Slacks in Wisconsin makes some of the best jams and jellies and they SHIP. I love their TrippleBerry and the unusual mixes they do.

    no...Sumo Orange is the king of the category for me.

    blood oranges are awesome, and really come into play when the fruit needs to taste good and look good...like an upside down citrus cake.

    I’ve always loved them. Big Italian presence here and the influence has presented plenty of variety. Blood Orange Italian soda or gelato is wonderful! They have another name I always saw them labeled under “Moro”. I guess in this ridiculous age where we have BubbleGum tobacco and Cotton Candy Grapes… ridiculousness abounds.
