Yeah she is awesome! I have a DC. I was considering the 3300BT as well, but she knew that I preferred the larger screen so she went that route.

I will definitely post pics up, but I'll be doing it in stages. Today the HU is going in. I'll post up pics later today.

    Phase 1 complete:

    IMG_20110416_190230_0cbbd2a157018df4eb6d6d14783c342d1095e167.jpg

I used the Scosche dash kit, it fits pretty nice.

The install took a LOT longer than I was anticipating. The clock/hazard button was a PITA to figure out. Here's a tip: There are 2 "posts" with the little yellow clips next to the clock/hazard assembly. Pull outward <- -> on them while pulling the assembly out.

A tip on the A/C controls: just grab a hold of 2 knobs and pull. It comes right out.

I blew an "ACC." fuse for some reason. I had it wired up and was playing around with it then it just shut off. It took me awhile to find the blown fuse because I didn't know there were other fuses, besides the ones labeled "radio", that affected the radio.

Phase 2 will begin once I settle on my sound deadening and receive my box and speaker adapters from Mr. Marv.

I believe I'm going to remove all of the interior and line the whole thing with sound deadener.

Final thoughts on the HU swap: It is definitely a LOT louder now than the factory HU.

I got the dash kit and harness from Amazon. It's the Scoshe harness. They're all the same for the 1987+ Toyotas unless you have the JBL system. If you have a JBL system then you have to have an $80+ harness.

I don't have the steering wheel controlls hooked up, but I think I will in the future. I found myself trying to turn the volume up and down with them yesterday. It really is convenient to have them.
