    Morning.
    Snowing like crazy…
    Drinking coffee.

    Little bowling ball work today.
I absolutely HATE single color reconditioning and repair.
The cover stock changes color and cannot blend into the surrounding area.
Bigger surfaces add product.. More chances of failure.
At least it will look ok for a while..
    Customer wanted name removed.

Hopefully I won’t have to do to many of these…

    Morning folks :pccoffee:

Weather has been crappy and is staying that way for the next several days. Ice, snow, wind, February has came in like a wreaking ball o_O

Really want to get out in the garage and start my re-do project. Back wall is getting opened up (I didn't do that portion) inspected, insulated, and drywalled. The walls I did are going to get the same treatment. Also correct some of my little mistakes here and there from when I first enclosed it.

Next year I want to make a lean-to off the side of the garage. This weeks shuffle of vehicles due to ice has sucked only having a 1 car garage. Gotta figure out the actual property line, so I'll get with the property owners daughter and we'll come up with something.

Speaking of the neighbors, had a little bit of a situation a couple weeks ago. Just got off work just browsing the internet when all of a sudden I heard a jake-brake and a bang. Well, that is not good. There's a road right across from my house and the little Escape pulled right out in front of a semi. He was able to swerve just in time to avoid a side collision.

How he managed to miss the telephone pole is beyond me! Lady was trapped in the car and bystanders were trying to get the door open. I told them to stop; the fire department is 5 minutes up the road and the lady was responsive and talking, no immediate danger. 5 minutes later they did show up, use the jaws of life, and taken away. Last I heard she is doing fine.

Amidst all this I got a hold of the property owners daughter to let them know of the situation. Her dad was in the hospital (property owner) so I was tasked with getting information from the state trooper and relaying any information. Not the first accident I've done that for them. They're appreciative that I'm there for that kind of stuff.

Took two wreckers to get the semi and trailer out of the ditch. Took about an hour and half. I imagine that was a helluva bill! o_O

That’s a lot of open and flat ground to pull out in front of of a semi like that. I bet she told the trooper she didn’t see anything  Those heavy duty rotator wrecker guys aren’t cheap. It’s amazing what a good operator can do with one of them too.

Good morning guys. Enjoy your day.

Yep, because the object that screen her out was the truck and trailer

It's kind of a bad intersection. Pulling out of the road you have plenty of view Westward, but East there's a hill that can be challenging especially with cars going 10-20mph over the speed limit. Semi was traveling East so there was plenty of view to see it. This has been the 5th accident right here since I moved in January '22. Lost a mailbox in one o_O

    Didn't travel too far...

It WAS a nice cedar post and everything. I learned quickly not to bother and just did a cheap treated one.

Thought about something more solid, but with this sue happy world I don't want someone to try and sue my homeowners insurance for "deliberate malice". Sad world we live in now.
